GoBills808 Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Yup, what I’ve been calling him all along.
Stank_Nasty Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 My best buddy is a lifelong “Stiller” diehard. This last Sunday was the first time we’ve gotten to sit down and watch ball together this year. After a half he says “You know, this guy reminds me a lot of Ben”.... I just nodded while wearing a grin from ear to ear. Personally I think he’s a better athlete while being a less refined passer but I think it’s a solid comparison regardless. 1
Bring it Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Ben never ran that fast in his dreams! Other than that there is a lot of similarities. 2
TheBrownBear Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Similar in strength, but Allen is a freak athlete. Ben not so much. 1
Augie Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 This has a name. It’s called the “Anti-Ramsey Approach”. Worth a try! 1
PIZ Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Wow. Nice compliments. It's nice to see some maturity in these guys.

Let’s hope the similarities end on the field and that Allen isn’t spotted over the summer with his posse playing BMOC and cruising the ladies in the bathrooms of Wyoming frat parties. 1
GETTOTHE50 Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 if thats the case.. go get leveon bell and some antonio brown type player. SUPPPPEEERRRBOOWWLLLLL
Mrbojanglezs Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Hes more similar to Cam Newton than Big Ben 3
Captain Hindsight Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 I walked away Sunday thinking the Bills had found a stud. Allen looks like he belongs out there. First time I've felt that way about a QB in a longggggggg time in Buffalo 3

You just know Josh has some 'cattle in the closet' that are itching to join the #metoo movement.

Other than that there is a lot of similarities. He was a wr in high school. He was decently fast. Once he started to gain weight he lost his quickness Edited November 30, 2018 by Not at the table Karlos
njbuff Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Ben is a dumb comparison. Elway would be the better comparison. 1
JimKellyTryouts Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 He reminds me of Roethlisberger Not Josh, but daddy on the right 1
co_springs_billsfan Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 I think the future looks bright, but when articles like this come out the Bills usually lay an egg. Let's hope that times are a changin' 2

Logic Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 He's sort of a Cam Newton/Big Ben hybrid in terms of his size, scrambling ability, and escapability. That's a hell of a combo. If he goes on to have a career as good as the former, then it was a good pick. If he goes on to have a career as good as the latter, it was a home run. 1
