Augie, Royale with Cheese and I started talking a bit about this this morning and I wanted to see how many of us would be interested in getting together.  I know there are a lot of us in the Atlanta area.  We were thinking of doing it on a non gameday, since most of us do other things for the games.  Some of the suggested venues were the Standard in Roswell, Tavern at Medlock, Whitehall, or Duffs in Newnan (which is probably too far for most.  Please respond if you are in the Atlanta area and interested in having a gathering to meet some of the other Bills fanatics in the area.  We can move this conversation to the Bills Backer forum eventually, but I wanted to start it her e for a bit more visibility. I have attended games this season at Bills Backers bars in Charlotte and Denver and enjoyed hanging out with all of the transplanted fans, so I thought this might be fun.

Who's interested?

You need the area code ?

Atlanta has probably a half dozen area codes....4-5 I’m aware of. THAT took some getting used to! When I lived in SC,  803 covered the entire state!

I’m in if I’m around, and I rarely go anywhere. I know there are a lot more ATL folks out there. What works for you? (Avoiding us entirely but having fair warning of where and when to avoid us is a real answer, I realize!)

For Mead, I’m 404 on my cell (but 707 at home on the useless landline where I get 4-6 robocallls/day), so I’ll expect to see you there!

I may check out The Standard in Roswell this weekend. They have a big sign out front that says "Home of the Buffalo Bills".  Standard just opened where Diesel restaurant used to be.

Ha! I used this as an excuse to drop into Padriacs (Vinings) for a drink yesterday. I learned that they decide on game day whether to have bills or Falcons sound now depending upon who shows up in greater numbers and earlier, unlike previous years where it was all Bills sound.

Who else am I forgetting?

That place is still there? Used to go there all the time....lived in Magnolia & Paces apartment complexes off Cumberland when I first moved to Atlanta (‘99)

Still there, and I think I saw something about 20th anniversary drink specials for a month. Been around a while! Hard to do in that business.

Have fun and make a tradition to get together ever couple months.

I know we’re still missing a lot of people, but I just can’t think of who! How many do you usually get?

I would love an Atlanta get together. Unfortunately, I live in Upstate NY and I have no travel plans in the foreseeable future. We haven’t seen the sun in a week, and when the sun was out last week the temperature was about 15 degrees. The forecast calls for rain, snow and clouds for the next week.  Lovely Upstate November!

4-7 at most lunches. . Several others interested just have not been able to make it.

If everyone shows then could be around 14.

Haven’t been to an Atlanta TBD get together like this yet but would love to check it out! I do have a new baby at the house (born the same day as JA’s magnificent leap September 23rd, like to think those events are somehow related lol) so I’m not quite footloose and fancy free, but with enough heads up I would definitely try to get out

CONGRATS!!!!   I will consider the birth of your child, and the survival of Josh’s baby making stuff as a sign. We shall see you there!!!

But seriously, what part of town are you in? This would be, to my knowledge, the first TBD ATL event, so anything is possible. Do you have a favorite strip club?  ?

I didn’t start this, but I’d like to see it come off in some (decent) fashion. Lunch is hard for many coming from such distances, but maybe a little happy hour somewhere or a Saturday meet and greet lunch. We’re not the relaxed little hamlet of the  518  which  @mead107 enjoys. We seem to have Roswell to Newnan covered so far, which is, in Mead terms New Hampshire to Kentucky! (You know I kid, but barely.) . I’m around the Vinings (Padriacs?) which is kind of in the middle, and Whitehall Tavern is more south Buckhead.

Let us know and please keep checking in. Just looking for thoughts at this point.
