They are fine with drafting guys who beat women multiple times; punch a pregnant girlfriend; or knock a women out on video. Owners can do so because fans can less about this than a dude who silently protested. Fans need to look at themselves in the mirror and ask why they get more upset about Kaepernick than Foster, Mixon, or Hill. If you have women in life and get more upset about Kaep than those guys, what message are you saying? Kaepernick is clearly top 64 QB provided he still gives a **** and is training by this point. He simply has a job in this league, and I'm actually astounded how banded together the owners are about this. Who wouldn't want to sack up and sign Kaepernick to the 3rd on depth chard purely to tell Jerry Jones he ain't leading your coaliion and can suck it. I mean going behind Jerry Jones's back is the best reason of all to saign Kaep. **** him off. Truly strange.. Even Shahid Khan for the Jags won't do it, PERFECT fit, and he's all about kneeling! Really wonder what's going on behind closed doors with these owners. But some aren't sacking up. Again, how can you not troll Jerry and instead choose to be in cahoots with him. Him and Dan Snyder are the WORST Edited November 27, 2018 by PetermanThrew5Picks 3

There is a difference though between a guy who has to go through the disciplinary process and then presents himself as ready to act accordingly and a guy who tells you openly that he will continue to act while at work in a way that pisses off half of your customers and team. It sounds like this was a 'second chance' beating of the same woman he beat up last year. 1
hemma Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 I've read the Redskins statement a few times now and I am almost misty. Dan Snyder must have a Social Worker background. He seems like a very nice man and hopeful for young Reuben's future. 1 1
snamsnoops Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Foster is just a bad person...Kinda reminds me of Greg Hardy... He was a real piece of chit!

Not at all, but a person should have a chance at due process and to redeem himself after paying whatever price is assessed by both the law and the league. On the back end of that he'll be on a short leash both legally and in the court of public opinion but IMO he is deserving of the opportunity to continue his football employment if he can rehab his record/reputation and maintain that. All well and good, but Washington should have let all you mentioned run its course before attempting to sign him. The fact that they were the only team to place a waiver claim for Foster is a bad, bad look.

Kirby Jackson Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 (edited) This is appalling. Foster belongs in jail not on waivers. I guess that we shouldn’t be surprised the team that signed Junior Galette wouldn’t have an issue with a guy that beats women. Edited November 28, 2018 by Kirby Jackson 4

You don’t see how this looks bad, though? We give due process for women beaters but not a guy who silently protested? and say there’s a small chance Foster, who’s had issues since high school, is innocent? Explain Joe Mixon. Where were the owners/ league on that? Where were the fans threatening to boycott the league if he got drafted? How about the Giants kicker who played for a year while there were numerous domestic violence charges? imo, football is the greatest sport invented. But the nfl is run by scumbags with a lot of double standards and the fans allow it. Edited November 28, 2018 by C.Biscuit97 1 2

If he was a good quarterback 10 teams would be trying to sign him. Cam Newton starts kneeling during the pledge and gets cut, 10 teams would try to pick him up. No. Not true at all. It's because domestic violence is more tolerated by a certain section of society compared to kneeling for the anthem. 39 minutes ago, BringBackOrton said: No one cares about Colin Kaepernick. Right or wrong, people still see things like domestic violence as a private matter; "it's none of my business" But people take it personally when someone (especially privileged, pampered athletes) are shitting on the country, flag, etc. 1
JoPar_v2 Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Coincidentally Washington was also selling this cheap doll of Sean Taylor on the anniversary of his murder. Only $20! all class, that organization.
