AWESOME. I hate the Jaguars now. They ticked me off last game, and I didn't realize how ticked off I got losing to them last year. With EJ in London, etc. London game was bogus refball on a phantom PI. We've played them a LOT.

Then they got Marrone and Hackett. Jaylen's talking trash. Take another look at that box score Marrone and GTFO of Buffalo.

**** the Jags. AFC ****list is now 1. Patriots 2. Jags

I do like Cody Kessler though. Thought he had some decent stretches for a terrible Browns team. Can't see him being much better or worse than WarBortles.

I wanted Cody Kessler as a backup instead of Peterman.  You are right, he could surprise some people.

Maroon is a complete asshat.  Those of you who keep saying what a great coach he is, bite me.  He's throwing anybody he can under the bus just to keep his job.  Quittin' mutha *****a.

yea! It's fun to hate (and beat) an AFC rival. We found an AFC punching bag boys! Next up... Paaaatriots!

I knew when i heard his press conference that Bortels was going to get benched. I didn’t know he would give his boy Hackett the boot. That had to come from the Czar himself

92.3 passer rating as a rookie in 8 starts.. and the Browns never let him see the field in 2017. Then trade for Tyrod lol. WHY DO THEY DO BROWNS THINGS.. why would they draft him and cut him after he exceeds all expectations as a rookie for.. RGIII and then Tyrod

Tannehill was playing pretty well yesterday and Gase called two draws plays on third and ten late in the fourth quarter, neither worked and they lost a ten point lead.

I have not seen too many successful draw plays the past many years, and even less for 10 yards, but I read that there were short passes that went incomplete before they got into the 3rd and 10 situations. Also loads of speculation that Tannehill's shoulder is not 100%. I believe Gase did not trust his arm so he was hoping to catch the Colts D on an overaggressive pass rush with the draw and.... obviously not so much.

You are right though, Gase has been under the microscope lately for his play calling not sure if I lay that last game at his feet - they needed a few stops from their defense to hold their lead and the defense crapped the bed.

I do think that it was odd that he stopped running the ball when they were having success with that. He said it was because the Colts were sending run blitzes. My philosophy is you run the ball till the other team proves they can stop you regardless.

Fun watching the Marrone boat sink all while knowing the Bills had a hand in it.

Gase is a moron. So dumb offensively, dude gives Gore more carries than Kenyan Drake and passes way too much when he has every reason to just run the ball.. Drake is averaging 4.6 YPC has 4 TDs AND ONLY 89 CARRIES. But noooooo Gore has to get 15 carries a game on like.. 2 YPC. Dummy.

They went all in on Kizer.  I don't know why they didn't keep Cody even if they went with an expensive one year vet like TT.

Don't understand Stanton unless they wanted him as mentor.

Apparently, Cris Carter's "have a fall guy" works for coaches also

Funny: Hackett was innovative and effective this time last season - when Fournette was healthy all year, they had an up-and-coming rookie LT, and they hadn't let their LG leave in FA.

blech.. Browns. At least they have Baker and he looks like the real deal. It's like the 6ers missing lottery picks for 5 straight years and then looking like tanking geniuses after drafting 2 good players. YA DIDN'T HAVE TO TANK 7 SEASONS TO GET 2 GOOD PLAYERS Browns and 6ers!

Feel bad for Hackett. Had that offense cooking last year. Bortles looks like Peterman out there now.

Easier to fire Hackett than fire Bortles this morning, but I’m sure Dougie and the gang wish they did it differently.

Funny how a better OL and the #1 rushing game in the league will improve a QB's apparent functionality.

If they don't like how Bortles plays with no run game and a sieve on his blindside, they shouldn't have extended him.  Maybe Coughlin should fire himself.

When I was doing my QB draft assessment (looking at the NFL play of QB drafted in different rounds), my criteria sorted out a couple of QB I'd never heard of.

One was 3rd round pick Cody Kessler.

That said, I don't think he'll look much better than Bortles behind that OL, unless Fournette avoids dumb fights, suspensions for dumb fights, and plays like the first half yesterday.

I remember seeing him play well briefly whenever I bothered to watch the Browns, then he disappeared and I looked at the Browns QBs and checked his stat line and was pretty confused how he wasn't a more wanted FA backup.

I'm going to keep an eye on the JAX IND game to see how he plays.

If he plays any better than Bortles for less than a million than it can show he is a good long term backup.

Is he a free agent after this season?!  Can the Bills trade for him next year?! In short, Bring Him In!!!  (Just call me Jon Gruden light.)

Weird move to abandon your friendship to save face for the last five games of your head coaching career.

It is not like he is Ronnie Jones and is going to fall on his sword for him.

He has 2019 still on his rookie contract.

CLE traded him to JAX for a 7th if I remember correctly.

yep, a 2019 7th.

Any team who plays Jacksonville, rest of the season, should strive to have Fournette ejected.  Absent a reliable QB, it's a guaranteed W.

Since they have won only 3 games this season it is not as important as it may seem.
