ghostwriter Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Let's say we finish 8-8, Allen plays great to finish the season. Buffalo looks like a team that is going to compete for a long time. We would suddenly become an attractive destination for many FAs. We also have a ton of cap space to work with and our offense lacks a playmaker. Why not Bell? Give him what he wants, Buffalo now has the best RB in the NFL. Build that OL in the draft and free agency. Buffalo adds a guy that regularly puts up 2,000 all purpose yards a season. Hopefully Zay and Foster continue to develop alongside Allen and I could definitely see us making a playoff push. Bell gets a 4 year deal, his contract would be up around the same time Josh Allen's is, so no conflict there. Definitely think offense would not be a problem anymore. 1
26CornerBlitz Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Better fits? The Jets, Colts, and Packers immediately come to mind. 4 1

ocemur Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Any team with more than one or two offensive line spots filled competently. 1
Homey D. Clown Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 As long as I've been a fan of this team, I've never pined after other team's douchey players at any time. 3
RPbillsfan Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Colts would make great sense. Very solid and in place offensive line, established QB, lots of cap space. He's from the Midwest and could see a good fit in Indy, 4

Stank_Nasty Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 I have no desire to find out how ineffective his “patient” running style is behind even just an average offensive line. His running style dictates he needs to choose very wisely when picking a team. 2

Call_Of_Ktulu Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Bell would be a good fit anywhere but I could see him having a good season with Allen and the Bills. 1

Kinda why the rumors for Packers are sticking with me IMO. Makes lot of sense for Bell and Packers, McCarthy likely out, and they've been more game for FAs to kickstart a better offense for Rodgers with Jimmy Graham. They know time's running out on the Rodgers era and the GM is getting more antsy about it... Would match Bell and Rodgers together in their respective football primes too. I'd love him in Buffalo TBH would inject steroids into this offense, he can do so much. Edited November 26, 2018 by PetermanThrew5Picks 1
mjt328 Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Smart teams don't spend $17 million per year on a Running Back. Yes, we have lots of cap space. But you don't exchange one bad/overpriced contract for another. 17 4

That equates to Buffalo getting more yards, which we desperately need.
Steptide Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Yes, let's go all out for another running back. How many times have the bills done this already? McGahee, Lynch, spiller, McCoy. Seriously if they draft a running back in the 1st round or over pay for a running back in free agency my head will explode 2

Shady's career is winding down now, need to move on. Dump everyone but Marcus Murphy, sign Bell, draft another midround RB. 1
The Now Moment Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 He doesn't fit at all into the "Process". I don't know how you think he'd fit here. He is the opposite of a "Process" player 1
