eball Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Bills (2-0) and Sabres (9-0) undefeated since 11/4, UB football Bulls in MAC championship, UB basketball Bulls undefeated and ranked #22. What the hell is going on here? If they keep this up BBFS will soon be eradicated.
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Shhh! The 'sports gods' will hear you, and we'll be back in 'Wide Right - No Goal' Purgatory again...not that we're all that far removed from it now.
Marv's Neighbor Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 What goes around, comes around? Maybe "it's" finally going to come around for BUF.

I know most buffalo people probably don't follow Syracuse sports, but it's crazy that the ub men's basketball team is ranked and cuse isn't. On top of that, Syracuse football finished 9-3. Strange times

After having the 'Syracuse mystique' dangled over WNY about every pro player, coach, or sports journalist who ever spent time there, it's nice to have a breather.
Seasons1992 Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 I was in town over the weekend. Watching the Sabres win in OT at Gene McCarthy's and the crowd exploded was awesome. Went to the Bills game yesterday, and saw a LOT of Sabres gear at that game as well. What a time to be a Buffalo fan. Thanks to @mead107 and Y'all and @plenzmd1 and the fun crew @Hammered a Lot at the lot. Can't wait to see you all again.
BillsPride12 Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 I was able to attend Wednesday and Friday's Sabres games and the Bills game yesterday. What a roll. I never luck out and get to see so many great games. The atmosphere both downtown and in Orchard Park yesterday was incredible. What a holiday weekend!
row_33 Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 great work by the Sabes, they've cleared a hurdle and can afford a two week slump now and slack off on lost games all that matters is the playoffs, taking the President's Trophy and getting bounced in the first round is not worth it
zow2 Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 These are some good times indeed. If only the Bills were in a better wild card position that would really make this an amazing Fall/winter sports run. UB Hoops has been good for a few years now. Mens and women's. It's unreal so see them ranked ahead of teams like Villanova, Wisconsin, Maryland, etc.. If they can get through the rest OOC schedule unscathed and pick off one or two of their tough opponents, they will be in a nice position for an at-large.
