mozillameister Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 Tomorrow's game might end up being the most important Bills game this year. Winning off a BYE with lots of young starters and Allen starting after a 4 game hiatus. This sets the tone of what our franchise is developing towards. Really excited for it...but also nervously skeptical. What if Allen poops the bed? Or if our D gets humiliated by Jacksonville of all teams? I'm not good with watching embarrassing moments, and this game could end up being that. Anyone else in the same boat and just want to get this game over with already?
PittsforDave Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 (edited) I’ve learned not to get my hopes up. It’s a big game, if history is any indication, Bills will choke in a very Billsy fashion. I have little hope we build on last game, never know though. Edited November 25, 2018 by PittsforDave 2
McNubbins Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 I think any Bills fan should be nervous. We WANT to see JA show progress, and steps towards being our franchise QB. We've been let down a lot though, so it's easy to expect he'll look like a trash heap. Time will tell.
billsfan1959 Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 Not nervous at all. I am excited for Allen to be back on the field, and I am looking forward to seeing what he can do the remainder of the year! 2
HomeskillitMoorman Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 Not really. Allen could poop the bed...but that's going to happen here and there with a rookie QB, especially with the lack of an offense put around him by Beane and McDermott. If he does, we'll see how he comes back from it, see if he learned anything. I don't really know what to make of him yet. His accuracy issues are concerning, and I don't think we have the best coaches in place for his development. Hopefully he starts showing something. I'd rather see him let it rip and air it out than care about trying to game-manage out a win like vs the Titans. But unfortunately I think the gameplan will probably be similar to that.
wppete Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 I’m pumped. Excited to see a healthy Josh allen back. Have a huge BBQ and beers planned for tomorrow’s game. Let’s go Biils!
LSHMEAB Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 I'm excited to see what Allen can do. Have serious doubts, but it should be a fun game. THERE IS NO FREAKING REASON TO BE NERVOUS ABOUT A 3-7 TEAM. Get a grip man. 3 2
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 I'm ready to see what Daboll has dialed up for Josh and if the new speed of Foster/McKenzie/Thompson can be put into consistent good use. Would love to see the OL take shape with Teller and Josh take control of the game and make smart decisions and accurate throws. The crowd should be pumped up at New Era so let's get ready for some football. 1

I definitely don't feel let down so far on Allen. He's a rookie so he's played about expectation so far. A regression though would be really bad... Now this season on the other hand? Yeah, definitely. Should have loaded our lower picks on linemen and brought in Anderson at the beginning of preseason. No matter what this season would be rough. 1
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 when I get nervously excited, I tone it down man, tone it down. 3

If Allen starts playing bad there's going to be a lot of calls to play Barkley, as stupid as that is. Plus the Jags are a very good 3-7 team hampered by coaches (which we all know) and Bortles.
Rc2catch Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 I’m excited for Allen’s return. I’m glad it’s against the jags, and glad their defense played pretty lights out most of last week. Time to step up and be the franchise guy. No excuses. For me anyways this game is very telling for his future. Zero reason he shouldn’t show progression from what we seen earlier this year. More than half a season in, been studying behind other quarterbacks for weeks. If he’s the guy I expect him to lead this team to a victory.

I hope Allen plays great and throws for 300yards, then lose on late FG. This is season is toast and we need to highest pick possible
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 I’m nervous about we will not have enough Wings with the family all in town. eff it I’m going to get more. 1 1
Boca BIlls Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 I have no nervous in me... just another game. All I want to see if Josh Allen and how he plays.
buffaloboyinATL Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 I am excited to see if we are moving in the right direction. It sure seemed like it last game. 1
Roundybout Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 Hell yes. Got a busful of guys heading down tomorrow morning for some tailgating, then get to watch Joshie live and in person. Can't wait.
Jpsredemption Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 Have a feeling this may be like Bears game. Brutal turnovers don't even give the defense a chance to keep it close. That's what happens when you gamble on and overdraft a QB. 1
Bobby Hooks Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 I’m interested. Wouldn’t say I’m nervous, or overly excited. Almost December and three wins will do that to you.
