dave mcbride Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 The offensive playcalling by UB since they took the 29-10 lead is exactly why teams with leads lose. Playong not to lose. Quote
Formerly Allan in MD Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 UB took the second half off. Sad. Refs are terrible. NIU OL continually holding and not being called at all. Quote
dave mcbride Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 Just terrible, cowardly playclling by UB after they got the 29-10 lead. Pathetic. Quote

CaptnCoke11 Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 They may have to score a TD.. Their kicker is shaky Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted December 1, 2018 Author Posted December 1, 2018 (edited) I blame Leipold for taking his foot off the gas. UB scored on 5 straight drives but he decides to get conservative. This UB defense isn't good enough too sit in a lead. Edited December 1, 2018 by PromoTheRobot Quote
Formerly Allan in MD Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 Deserved to lose. Terrible play calling, defensive non-coverage, and on last drive, Jackson had receivers open and continually went to closely covered guys. Quote
jkeerie Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 You also have to put some of this on Jackson. He took really bad sacks instead of throwing the ball away. Impacted field position. 1 Quote

Both of our place kickers were that at best. It's fitting that's what cost this team the championship. 2 minutes ago, Lurker said: Man, Jackson. smh... No way is he NFL material at this point. Quote
jkeerie Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 Next year's goal...beat Northern Illinois. It's the team they can't seem to beat. Quote
Boatdrinks Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 Terrible job by Leipold and Co today. Complete choke job vs a 7-5 team that now seems to own them. Huge disappointment in a season that once looked so promising. Quote
Not at the table Karlos Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 can anyone explain the ineligible man down field that was declined when none of their lineman or mabry passed the los Quote
BADOLBILZ Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 Jackson ain't NFL ready. Spins some dimes and runs good in a straight line...........otherwise EVERYTHING needs work. Buffalo sports off to a HOT weekend........2 losses in FL for Sabres and now UB blows a huge lead in MAC title game. 1 Quote

YoloinOhio Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 UB’s last two drives were crap. If they just try to get a few yards and then pin NIU they probably win. Instead up 5 late, they take a huge sack on third and 17. Bad game management. 1 Quote
zow2 Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 Well that sucked. Still a great season but no championship. Tyree just looked confused in the second half but AJ did have a chance at that deep one late. Just couldn’t reel it in. Surprised the D got lit up like that. Still a Bowl game as a reward so I’m gonna enjoy that. Hopefully they play loose and win it 1 Quote
