PUNT750 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 slow down the Rams, Chiefs or Saints to make it a competitive game?

atlbillsfan1975 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 The offense would have to play competent ball. I like the D’s chances when the opposition has to drive 75+ yards and has time to rest. 1
Buffalo Barbarian Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Yes but not to a competitive game, our offense isn't there yet. 1
Kirby Jackson Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Nope, the Saints can’t be slowed. There are a couple of plays to be made against the other teams. The Bills defense is opportunistic. They may make a couple plays against Goff and Mahomes, not Brees. 3
NewEra Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 (edited) Not the saints. Rams a bit. Chiefs a bit. Pats had scored 38+ 4 games in a row before we played them on mnf and we held them in check all game Edited November 23, 2018 by NewEra 3
CaptnCoke11 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 No. Our linebackers would get abused badly 1
billspro Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 I don’t think any defence could slow those guys down. They could make enough plays to win the game with a good offence though.
Call_Of_Ktulu Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Defense is dying, soon 70% of the cap will be on offense with only 30% going to defense. Holding from O-Lineman are not being called anywhere, I think it is pointless to invest money into the defensive side of the football.

It’s gotten them to 6-5. And the 49ers.

Augie Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 We would need some offense to compete. We ain't got that. Yet.

LOL, neither of those teams will be making a Super Bowl appearance anytime soon. Defense is dead and very little money should be allocated to it. Pay a shut down CB and a DE and go all offense. 1
Scott7975 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Slow them down a little maybe. Not nearly enough I don't think.

Although the Redskins were going okay until Smith went down. But looking at their receiving options tonight and knowing just a couple of years ago they had Garcon, Jackson and Crowder.... it is a big weapons downgrade.

Yes, they were 6-3 until Smith got hurt 2 hours ago, PUNT750 said: slow down the Rams, Chiefs or Saints to make it a competitive game? Yes they could. But to make it a compeltivie game we would also need to be having a good day offensively too so the D isn’t on the field all day.

NoSaint Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 The saints defense is giving up fewer points per game the saints offense, on average, has outscored the bills points scored per game by about 5 mins into the second quarter
bills11 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 we could slow down the rams to an extent as in keep them under 30 pts...the chiefs aroudn that...no chance with new orleans..we have no ability to even slow down brees..it would look like the colts game just worse
