"So Brady will be either tethered for another year to that middling tribe if the team decides to bring them back (and Patterson doesn’t even count as a wideout) or charged with breaking in a new crop of receivers alongside the 33-year-old Edelman (insert obligatory reminder here that Brady will be 42)."

Ok.....and what is his point?  That Brady might retire or go to another team, because he doesn't have top receivers to play with?

Hasn't he thrown TDs to like 75 different guys?  He's made the careers of nobodies like Wes Welker and Edelman.

They do feel like a dying dynasty that is about to come off the rails.  I so hope they commit to Brady big again because the guy has to hit the wall.  Let them live the contract and cap mess that launched the Bills into a long period of misery.
