WTH. Why are the Bills colors taking on an orange hue?

It is like those nightmare late 80's early 90's cheap Bills gear that was in every store and gas station convenience store in Buffalo area with a clothes rack every time I visited. They had those cheap knockoffs from wherever and had those weird light colored royal and light colored red.

11-23: Brian Daboll on WGR (8:58)

#Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll joins Howard Simon right now on WGR!

Daboll - Having Derek Anderson here really has helped Josh in terms of understanding how a quarterback prepares on a regular basis. Allen is always learning in practice and from the sidelines. However, there's no substitute for playing and facing live action. #Bills

Daboll - I think Josh has tried to ask the right questions for Anderson and understand how to be a professional. #Bills

Daboll - I think every part of his game has been getting better. We want to continue to grow him on a weekly basis. He's such a young player, and what a test this week will be to face this Jacksonville defense. #Bills

Daboll on Isaiah McKenzie - He's a smaller guys with good short-space quickness, he's good with the ball in his hands. I think Beane and McDermott have done a great job of trying to help us as a football team. #Bills

Daboll - You have to execute no matter what you're running on offense. Having skill is always a benefit as long as you can execute well. #Bills

Daboll - The Jaguars have some very good players. Some good perimeter players with Ramsey and Bouye, good safeties. The defense is very good and they have the stats to back it up. #Bills

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Matt Barkley led the Buffalo Bills' offense to its most prolific first half in 19 seasons, but his performance in a Nov. 11 victory over the New York Jets bowed to the franchise's need to develop Josh Allen when coach Sean McDermott decided to start his rookie at quarterback on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Barring further injury, Allen will return from his sprained right elbow to presumably start the remaining six games of the regular season. The playoffs are no longer a realistic possibility for the Bills, who at 3-7 have a 0.3 percent chance to return to the postseason, according to ESPN's Football Power Index.

Welcome to the Josh Allen development camp.

well if this sunday is a disaster, the season is over and the national media is torching this decision, i for one will hope they pile it on, because it will be deserved.

as for mike rodak....it's two thumbs down and one finger up.

Michael DiRocco ESPN Staff Writer

Jaguars rule out WR DJ Chark (quad), LB Lerentee McCray (hamstring), CB Quenton Meeks (knee), and LT Josh Walker (foot/ankle) for Sunday's game at Buffalo. NT Marcel Dareus (back), DT Eli Ankou (calf) and RG A.J. Cann (hamstring) are questionable.

Mike Rodak ESPN Staff Writer

Bills QB Josh Allen is expected to start Sunday against the Jaguars as long he gets through Friday's practice without any issues in his right elbow, coach Sean McDermott said Friday. TE Charles Clay (hamstring) will remain out of practice Friday and will be listed as doubtful for Sunday's game.

Jaguars (3-7) at Bills (3-7): 1 p.m. ET, CBS

Point spread: JAX -3 Matchup quality: 22.0 (of 100)

Mike DiRocco's pick: Leonard Fournette has had 59 touches in his first two games back from a hamstring injury, and there's no reason to expect his workload to decrease significantly in Week 12. The Jaguars won the playoff matchup in January by being conservative on offense and relying on the defense. That will be the strategy Sunday, especially if Josh Allen is back for Buffalo. They'll try to force the rookie quarterback into a couple of mistakes, grab a few turnovers and keep LeSean McCoy from breaking off any big runs. Do that, and they'll be able to snap their six-game losing streak. Jaguars 13, Bills 7

Mike Rodak's pick: The last time Blake Bortles faced the Bills' defense, he passed for 87 yards and led the Jaguars to a 10-3 AFC wild-card playoff win. In predicting this game, the question is less about whether Bortles can beat the Bills' defense and more about whether the Bills' offense can prove the 41 points it hung on the Jets in a Week 10 victory was not a fluke. In a game in which one touchdown could decide the result, I will give the edge to a Jacksonville defense that has allowed a 56 percent conversion rate in the red zone compared to a 67.7 percent rate allowed by Buffalo. Jaguars 14, Bills 10

FPI win projection: BUF, 51.7 percent. There might not be a lot of offense to be found in this game. Both teams rank in the top 10 in defensive efficiency this season and in the bottom five in offensive efficiency, according to FPI.
