He didn't? He had Phillip Rivers a potential HOF QB and an overall much more talented roster.

Just because they had garbage coaches in prior years who did less with more doesnt mean Lynn should be given all this credit for merely getting them to play to their potential.

So they had a HOF qb and a much more talented roster yet they won 9 games in 2 years?  So maybe their roster wasn’t that superior or Lynn has done a good job.

Rivers’s career was in decline before Lynn got there—9 wins over the previous two seasons.

Yeah...sure looks like it...get out of fantasyland.

They were routinely looked at as underachievers. As in, this team has a lot of talent why are they sucking??

So Lynn doesn’t deserve credit for getting them to play up to their potential?

I believe that it was the right decision to hire someone who didn't have ties to Rex Ryan.  If Lynn had our roster he'd be 3-7 too.  The main difference is we would have had Geno Smith throwing INTs instead of Peterman.

Lynn wouldn’t have this roster.

Anthony Lynn would have been a good choice as a head coach, but he would not have had as much success in Buffalo because of a different QB situation.  I'm OK with Sean McDemott and where the Bills are going forward
