Terry Tate Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Just Nuts 285655 That story is disturbing for so many reasons, I wouldn't know where to begin. Yikes.
Dr. Fong Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 That is just insanity. I'm pro-choice, but that is absolutely out of control.
ch19079 Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 so a 14 year old cant even go see an R rated move without there parent being in there with them, but they can have an abortion.
aussiew Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Can't buy a beer, can't buy a pack of cigs either.
flomoe Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 There are just so many things wrong with this, I don't know where to begin. There are going to be a lot of heads rolling at all different levels here, the school, police and even the government that set the laws. I am just glad I don't live in Illinois.
rockpile Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 so a 14 year old cant even go see an R rated movie without their parent being in there with them, but they can have an abortion. 285768 ...and apparently commit R rated acts. Since when is the statute of limitations on statutory rape 7 weeks? People wonder why I am an anarchist.
OnTheRocks Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 i have read this story three times today just to make sure i havn't misread or misunderstood the story. if this was my daughter, i would have brought a baseball bat into the place with me and started swinging it at any anyone that tried to prevent me from grabbing my child. this makes me sick to my stomach.
