K-9 Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 One of the finest guitar virtuosos to ever pick a string. RIP.
row_33 Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 RIP, he wasn't the focus of my formative years enjoying the show, to be fair.

Azalin Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 A giant among guitarists, a genuine artist and gentleman.

I never owned any of his records, but I always stopped to watch and listen whenever he was on television. He had some wonderful appearances on the old Tonight Show with Carson. His abilities and performances crossed many genre boundaries. You can tell when someone loves what they do. 3
Gray Beard Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 Dang. I was listening to Roy Clark and Glen Campbell playing Ghost Riders in the Sky just yesterday.
WhoTom Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 I always liked his pickin' on Hee Haw, and his performances on The Odd Couple (like the one above) were incredible. What a talent! RIP, Roy. Thanks for the great music (and comedy).
