SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 (edited) The entire AFCE and CLE is on the BYE for week 11 This seems weird to me. Does anyone else recall an entire division on a bye at the same time? I know we always complain that it seems we get the Pats* after a bye. So there’s that. Edited November 18, 2018 by ShadyBillsFan
Wo-Bah Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Didn't they used to do the bye week by the division originally? A long time ago?
wppete Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Sucks not having football on Sunday... Im cheering for the Bengals this week.

BuffaloHokie13 Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 (edited) Just my opinion, but ideally I'd say the teams on bye should be the 2 that played on Monday night and the 2 set to play on Thursday night. Byes weeks 4-11. Yes, that'd mean no repeat teams during those weeks, but it'd be best for player safety imo. Edited November 13, 2018 by BuffaloHokie13 3

Also San Diego And Yes they are still San Diego to me! Everytime I see LAR listed I think they are referring to the Raiders. 1

IIRC JETS get NE after the bye. Lucky them 7 minutes ago, Ed_Formerly_of_Roch said: Also San Diego And Yes they are still San Diego to me! I didn't see that on my phone as it was off to the side. and its actually the 49ers Buffalo, Cleveland, Miami, New England, New York, San Francisco Denver is at Chargers

SoCal Deek Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 I've always felt that each Division should have its own bye week. It would keeps things more even in the divisional races.
MJS Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 I think they should start bye weeks later in the year. The first ones should be like week 7. I think the players would benefit from having it later rather than earlier.
Steptide Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 I've always thought bye weeks should be weeks 8 and 9. One week it's the whole afc, the next is the whole nfc, and u swap weeks every year.

You're a lot more likely to be suffering injuries as a team that need additional healing time in week 11 than in week 4.

Soda Popinski Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 I'd be fine with the sunday before thanksgiving being a complete league bye week. Gives the teams that play on Thanksgiving time to prepare, everyone pretty much gets the same week off so it balances out.
YoloinOhio Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 It’s a weird season. Bills had no Thursday game (woot), didn’t play a division game until 10/29, and don’t play the Pats off a bye. 2
