Da webster guy Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 I know there are varying degrees of involvement by coach McD with each of the picks in the past two drafts, but now that Zay has somehow emerged as a good receiver our last two years we have TreD Zay Dawk Milano Last year Josh Tremaine Harry Taron Teller Obviously Josh is the wildcard here, but currently this is 9 starters in two years through the draft. Almost half of the 22 man starting team in two years, all under rookie deals. I don't have time to look it up, but that's likely tops in the league, nine starters who are either rooks or sophomores. There's a little Whaley influence, and Beane obviously, but if McD has been significantly involved in these past two drafts like they say he has, it's a very encouraging sign that we have a knack for identifying and developing the right kind of players here. 14 1 2
Soda Popinski Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 It will be very interesting to see what they do with 10 picks, and 80 mil in cap space. 7 3

Heavy Kevi Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Really looking forward to how this all pans out. There is a good reason for hope. I believe there is a legitimate chance that McD will be a long-term coach in Buffalo.
whatdrought Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 I would say that if he turns into a decent #2, and Allen turns out to be a top 15 QB (which some may see as a stretch right now) and the others continue as they have, this could be considered a historically good two drafts. 1
Jauronimo Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 If Allen pans out the drafts were awesome. If he doesn't they're not looking so hot. 5

Teddy KGB Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Juju already panned out Same with Watson and the MVP front runner. Allen is gonna need to show up strong 1
Guest K-GunJimKelly12 Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 I think it is safe to say the Zay has panned out.

NewEra Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Why are we still talking about McDermott. Wasn’t he fired? 2 4

ghostwriter Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 I have tremendous hope for Zay Jones. I think if he continues on his current path he'll be a guy we can count on. He's steadily shown that he is a great route runner, a very good route runner. Can't emphasize that enough.

dubs Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 I’m bracing for the inevitable Mahomes comment followed by fire Beane (even though he wasn’t on staff but apparently was running the draft from Carolina or something like that). ? 1 4

No hate, no anger, no negative rants, no temper tantrums and no call to fire everybody now and next year! And some honest thought put into it - yup this will set some of our angry posters off! 1
End The Drought Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Didn’t everyone wanna fire this guy a week ago? Lol
