I would fire Daboll tomorrow for him. and I didn’t know you could just join a team like that. Edited November 13, 2018 by C.Biscuit97

Tbh it makes sense. They still play the Browns twice and just fired their DC. Hue is very experienced at slowing down Baker Mayfield. 2 10

I thought he would have been a great hire and remember lots of us on BBMB being bummed we picked Rex over him; the years he was Bengals OC was that team's peak in talent before Marvin Jones and Mohammed Sanu walked.
Happy Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Watch the Bengals fire Marvin Lewis and make Hue Jackson the HC. That would be some gamesmanship. Hue's role would then be defined.
Best Player Available Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 No big deal Greggo Williams had already turned the gig down.. 1 3

Yup hes not a good coach, he has had plenty of time and a tremendous amount of high level draft picks and its obvious he cant hack it. Dont want or need him here.
transient Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Don’t worry, once his role on the staff is defined I’m sure he’ll remind people of what it is every chance he gets. 1
JMF2006 Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Are you sure he didn't already join them before 11/11?

For all the "Ralph is Cheap" comments over the years, Paul Brown is Really Cheap! IMO that's why Lewis still has a job, Brown never wanted to eat the contract. At least now Jackson can blame things on Lewis!

apuszczalowski Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Bengals just prepping for the day Marvin Lewis retires? He was good for them last time he was a coach in Cinncy, and he used to work for a divisional opponent (hate to really call anyone the Browns play as a 'rival')
LABILLBACKER Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 When are teams going to learn that some guys are great coordinators but lousy head coaches.
