Josh Allen has not played a game in 4 weeks. He has yet to listed as Full in a single practice, meaning he has been Limited or has not practiced at all in a month.

Any coach who starts a franchise quarterback without being listed as Full in a single practice, coming off an injury like his, should be fired.

Start Barkley if he is afraid to start Peterman. But do not risk the future of the Buffalo Bills so a 2-7 team can possibly win a game.

If Allen plays and is injured, Fire McDermott on the airplane tarmac, just like the Raiders did to Kiffen.

The fact McDermott hasn't already rule him out makes one wonder if he should be anything more than a defensive coordinator.

This young player needs a full week of FULL practice before he should ever get back on the field against a real defense.

If yes healthy he absolutely needs to play

If he was fully healthy he wouldn't have been limited in practice.

If he's healthy play him. If he's not sit him.

Once again, if you are limited in practice you aren't fully healthy.

it doesn't mean he wouldn't be ready to play.

You seem to be blending the worry of his injury with him maybe not having enough game prep. If he's healthy maybe not getting the full practices in the week make the game harder for him but that doesn't really have anything to do with his injury.

what are you worried about? he wouldn't be the first player to play on sunday without full reps during the week.

Because he is the franchise quarterback, not some linebacker.

Either way he doesn't need to play until after the bye when he has had some full practices. This is a 2-7 team.

He has been throwing a 100 passes a day all week. That is twice the amount he would throw in a game. Let him play at this point he needs the reps.

If he plays it comes down to: is he ready to go with limited practice time and two more days of rest - or are they playing him hurt because they're idiots.

In games they hit people. This isn't no contact practice. He has six games of reps left. Plenty.

As much as I'd like to see Allen play somemore and hopefully progress, I would rather they wait til after the bye also and let him finish out the year and hopefully improve enough for us to be hopeful next season.

If Allen is healthy I don't think limited game prep stops him from starting with our list of back-ups. I don't want them to get him a worse injury either but if he's healthy he plays, every rep counts.

If his elbow is good enough to throw then he is good enough to get hit. The reason he was benched was because he couldn’t throw because of the injury. And he needs as many as he can get because he is terrible.

You want a guy who was your top 10 pick,  who hasn't been hit in a month, who is coming off an injury to his throwing arm, to start a game for a 2-7 team when they have a bye next week? Insanity.
