Lafromboise Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Discuss. I believe he blew by mahommes velocity record.
billspro Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 There’s nothing to discuss this is a fact.
billsfan_34 Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 He sure does have a cannon! If he fixes accuracy and learns to take some off in certain throws Allen will have a chance to be special. Arm strength is just one part of the equation.
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Neither. I think Ah-nold Schwartzgovernor could break both guhr-lee men in half. 1

You could take that kind of an attitude about being a Bills fan to begin with, but otherwise it’s as fair game as pretty much most other threads I’ve seen posted around here—let’s lighten up? 5 1
sven233 Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 He has the strongest arm ever recorded at the combine. Not only were his combine numbers the best ever, but he topped those velocity numbers at the Senior Bowl. He has the strongest arm eve according the the numbers. But what does it really matter? You have to have so many other traits to be a successful QB. Throwing hard can only take you so far. It's whether or not he can figure out how to play the position that really matters.
PIZ Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 I wonder if his injury will have long term effects on his arm strength. I hope not. 1
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 This is one of the reasons to be enthused about this kid and his ridiculously high ceiling which is higher in terms of physicality than any of the other 2018 Rooks 1
26CornerBlitz Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 (edited) Pretty well chonicled that he does, but there's a lot more that goes into playing QB well at the NFL level beyond arm strength. Edited November 10, 2018 by 26CornerBlitz 3
bills11 Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 His arm is ridiculous yes..just needs to harness it and learn he doesn't have to throw lasers on every pass .
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 (edited) I’d like to see jp measured on that scale. He threw 60 yard bombs with ease Edited November 10, 2018 by Over 29 years of fanhood

Nanker Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 I won't believe it until Bills wideouts go on IR because he's broken multiple fingers and given them cracked ribs from catching his passes. Maybe he could knock out Kelvin Benjamin with a shot to the side of his head. It might improve his receiving corps. 3 2

You know he will. Loves football to much not to go to his furthest corners

Once you say “in decades” you can likely say “ever” for most measurables. Training, nutrition, and the science of player development are all just another level. to this question- I’d say arguably yes. Depending on the qualifiers I’d say he probably rates in the top handful for just about any test (just straight radar gun fast ball or sheer distance), but if it’s got an accuracy qualifier (fastest throw to reliably hit a 40 yard tight target) might get interesting. 1
Seventeen Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 No doubt - right up there with Cunningham, Elway, Harris & Uncle Rico. 1 2 1
Rebel101 Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 What does this matter so did Jamarcus Russel. How’d his arm help him 2 1
