Going by the bowl affiliation:

...and the current record of the best teams with the bowl affiliations from the MAC, AAC, C-USA, MW and Sun Belt, competition wise is this the best scenario?

 

Note: please cancel out the AAC and their unbeaten UCF, because although the conference is referenced as a tie in I don’t see them in the list of bowls.

 

UCF would honestly be the best competition.

 

btw, if UAB and UB run the table they should both be in the top 25 by the bowl.
