If Barkley does start it could be just that, one off footnote in Bills history like the (@ Falcons) Brian Brohm disaster. Or he could play decent, make Peterman history, give us a look at a possible long term back up and send us into the bye with a win. Either way I say start Barkley. Give Allen that extra 2 weeks rest and let him come out of the bye ready to rip. As for Peterman, let him be inactive and have the backup be a combination of direct snap to Pryor Shady Ivory and Logan Thomas. Just start Barkley with Allen as the “backup” Get him back in game mode but save the bullets on that elbow. Make him the backup but with no intention of playing. Send Peterman anywhere else

Right, because the Bills QBs and offense scares teams

The only scare is if the other team's defense can't stop the Bills.....scary thought for their team and fans!

Please. It's all a smokescreen.

McDermott's gonna make the Jets sweat!

Ha ha, I'm sure the Jets are quaking in their boots!! A potential QB lineup of such awesomeness there is no way to stop it they can only hope to contain it!!

I was on that "other" board in 2013.

Who here on TBD wanted Barkley instead of EJ?

I didn't want any of them.  I wanted to keep Fitz another year.  Although, I do remember there were some people insisting we should trade up for either Geno or Barkley because they were going to be great and both be drafted early.

Wrong. His play on the field says he is a guy who is capable of coming in for a few plays in emergencies, and you get to pay him nothing, which allows you to play your top players. The third quarterback, getting paid the league minimum, is not supposed to be starting games. Only an idiot like McDermott does that. He is there to put on the practice squad and bring up a few times a year.

This is funny coming from a guy that is and has been advocating that Peterman start.

Amazing...it's Friday and they don't know who is starting....great way to prepare for the game

I hope they do not tell anyone who will start every week until Allen is fully healed.

BTW, i said after the Pats game no way Anderson sees the field again except as a backup if Allen get injured in a game..looking like that is the case. He wnated no part of playing to begin with, and the beatings he took in the two games were not what he signed up for.

Then he should have signed to a offense assistant although he would probably make a lot less.

Exactly.

The Jets aren't so much geared up to STOP Barkley, Anderson, or Peterman.

They're just trying to put in some kind of gameplan to at least limit the potential damage they'll do to the scoreboard at MetLife.

Dude it's dumb. Be decisive on if you want guaranteed loss Peterman, wildcard doesn't know the playbook Barkley (WHO COULD USE A FEW PRACTICE SNAPS) or banged up rookie you don't really need to start.

Play Barkley it's ****ing Friday

play barkley so his contract clause of starting one game trips a million dollar salary.  for all the shedding of dead cap, this fo has been pissin away money, just smaller amounts for nothing....just friggin stop the f tardardery...please!
