Not to put words in your mouth, but something along the lines of "Hey, dumbasses. Since you continue to be intellectually dishonest with the conversation, why are you purposely not addressing the entire statement in your racists rants?" You can put it in your own words. ? It's a lot like the time he called MS-13 Mexican gangbangers "animals." Everyone knows he was referencing MS-13, but the left claims he was speaking about all Mexicans and carry that lie to this day. As we know, when you lack intelligent, rational argument for your policies, then you lie and lie and lie about the other side. As it is often said, tell a lie enough times... 1

BeginnersMind Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 (edited) He said they were from other countries. Then in the next sentence he said they should go back to those places. But according to the Trump apologists, his clearly wrong statement in the first sentence has zero relation to the second sentence. Haha haha. The words are not that hard to read. BG posted them above. Edited July 20, 2019 by BeginnersMind

Words, sentences, punctuation et al are meant to convey thoughts. If context is removed from a statement then it changes its meaning. Just removing a comma can change a sentence completely. "Let's eat, Mom" means something entirely different than "Lets eat Mom". The Donner family is still paying for that little misunderstanding.

To understand and appreciate Trump one must look at his deeds and use a filter for his words. He says a lot of things that are stupid sounding or can be easily twisted by the Left and the MSM into sounding stupid or racist. He grew up as a NYC real estate developer and a tv showman. He talks trash and uses hyperbole because it's in his DNA.

But, he brought race into by saying “ go back to where you came from” Country of origin doesn’t = race. Sorry, but that statement isn’t racist. Journalists ( loosely) have really run off the rails with this. Not only telling us what is “ racist” , but even going so far as to call it the role of journalists to do so. The role is to report what was said, ( I.e the truth) and allow the reader to decide for themselves. Not sure when that was lost on them, but it’s ingrained in them to inject opinion into every story now. 1

The one that wasn’t seems where the tweet was aimed. That individual has made anti Semitic statements , and they all seem to dislike many American principles. What isn’t hard to understand though, is that where they came from ( or their grandparents ) is a place , not a race. The tweet is not racist, nor is the statement. It’s about the foundation of American government vs a socialist style one.
