Kirby Jackson Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 (edited) Just saw this and thought it warranted a thread. Edited November 8, 2018 by Kirby Jackson
rodneykm Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 The Bills. Even with Peterman at QB. I really hate this argument though. You are comparing the best of the best college players vs a college team with some NFL caliber talent on it. It would be a bloodbath. Alabama would get destroyed. 13 8

It's really not even close to debatable. 2 1
Dablitzkrieg Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 I don't see a scenario where ANY college team could get 1 win in a season. 0-16 every time 4 1
Dablitzkrieg Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 you could make a team of players that were cut before the season and that team would smoke Alabama. This is stupid! 5 2
BuffaloBillyG Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Everyone likes to use the "idea" that the Bills can't score as a reason. Do people even realize Alabama would have to try and score on one of the top defensive units in the NFL? 8 1
LSHMEAB Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 These questions are silly to anyone that knows anything about sports. 4 2
Bill from NYC Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 I am one of the biggest Crimson Tide Fans in New York. Alabama would lose miserably. I will also say that almost every starter currently on the Tide will be better than almost every current Bills starter, but not yet. They are college kids and the Bills would beat them. 4
26CornerBlitz Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 This question should be posed for Jon Gruden's Oakland Traders. 2 4
HomeskillitMoorman Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 (edited) I'd take the points for Bama if Petermans starting. The Bills would easily win, but I'm still not sure we'd put up over 30 points. Edited November 8, 2018 by HomeskillitMoorman
ProcessAccepted Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 After we are done discussing this I'd love to hear people's thoughts on who people think would win between King Kong and Godzilla in ping pong. 8
uticaclub Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 We don't have much NFL caliber talent on the offense side of the ball. I would take Bama to cover in a heartbeat & a ML of +1650 i might even take that. Nick Saban would stop anything this we try to do offensively and as long as their offense doesn't turn the ball over, I think they honest have a shot. There's enough talent on Bama to prevent this joke of an offense to score 5 times 1
hondo in seattle Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Our D would hurt them... like literally injure kids in a man versus boy kind of way. 1
thebandit27 Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Here's my creative way of answering this: Nathan Peterman beat Clemson the year that they won the National Championship 4 6

GETTOTHE50 Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 could Nick Saban be a better NFL HC than McD? does he take last years Bills to the playoffs? I think thats a more interesting question. 1
JP's Voice Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 In football it would be a no brainer. However, Paul Pierce made the claim that Duke could beat the Cavs in basketball. Duke likely has 3 top 10 picks in its starting 5. Could Duke beat Cleveland? I think it would be a lot closer than Alabama vs the Bills. 1
Kirby Jackson Posted November 8, 2018 Author Posted November 8, 2018 I guess for me, it’s more about the 28.5. If I were betting this game, I’d be betting Bama. The game would be something like 30-10 IMO. Alabama isn’t some college team that has some NFL players. They probably have 20-30 guys on that roster now that will be in the NFL and 15 or so guys that will be drafted in the 1st 2 days. Now, some of them are young but elite talents like Jeudy, Harris and Tua will make a few plays (even against our strong defense). Their OL has multiple guys that would start on our OL now (Williams and Pierschbacher). Their defense has a few stars as well (specifically Quinnen Williams). The Bills would do some scoring but I don’t see them winning by 29 or more. 7
