Kevin1778 Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 (edited) Amazing stat from Jason OTC on twitter. Incognito and Wood retirements hurt too. Teams investing the least per year on the offensive line 1. Bills- $12.5M 2. Texans- $21.5M 3. Dolphins- $22M 4. Ravens- $22.6M 5. Cardinals- $26.1M 6. Broncos- $26.9M 7. Bengals- $27.3M 8. Patriots- $27.6M Edited November 5, 2018 by Kevin1778 1 2 1 2
Mango Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 Just for reference, that is less than 33% of what the Saints are investing in their OL. And they pay Brees + the 10 mil they carry in dead cap for Brees because of the way his contract is structured. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/positional/offensive-line/ 2
wppete Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 All on McDermott and Bean. No one is holding them accountable for this. 1 4
Soda Popinski Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 Are we counting the money spent on Wood/Incognito/Glenn into that equation? We spent money on the Oline, just not on guys currently on the Bills roster. 1 1
Boatdrinks Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 Very old news. Yes, the OL is pretty bad. The QBs ( other than maybe raw rookie Josh Allen ) are putrid. A good QB could look decent behind this line. Not able to work miracles, but decent.
Aussie Joe Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 (edited) Some of us noted this in the preseason.. Modesty prevents me from mentioning any names.. Edited November 5, 2018 by Aussie Joe

My voice doesn't carry much weight at OBD, but I am holding them accountable. They should both be shown the door the minute the season ends. This season is beyond embarrassing, but I guess it will take a lot more to embarrass the Pegula's. 2

As they should. And their owner holds them accountable. As they should. Resources have to be put into the O line this offseason. Clearly. 1

People keep saying that...hold them accountable...they are held accountable in the public eye...whether that's radio shows...the buffalo news...national TV...they are being held accountable. What your saying is they need to be fired...there is a difference.
