I see a lot of negativity (and rightfully so) but how would you fix the O? This is what I would do..

this year:

1. Bench Peterman he just isn’t that good.

2. Max protect on every pass play give the QB (Barkley) as much time as possible to find a receiver.

3. Enficize ball security!! It is better to punt and trust your top 10 D to stop them than to give the other team a short field.

4. More screen passes

this wont fix it this year but will make the games competitive

- Play your best lineman for the rest of this year.

- Play the young skill guys.

- Keep developing Allen when ready and ahemmm... Peterman, if he's even in our next years plans.

- In the draft, trade down/up and draft 2 offensive lineman and 2 WRs in the first two rounds.

- Overpay for an established pro-bowl caliber WR or trade a 2020 2nd rounder for one.  I'm thinking Brandon Cooks type move here.

- Keep Daboll around at least another year.

I believe the dearth of offensive talent is the biggest issue, followed closely by inexperienced QB play.

Other than the defense's vast improvement, this year is no big surprise to anybody, is it?

This year isn’t possible.  Sign leveon bell, tyrell Williams, Daryl williams right tackle. Nkeal Harry first round, center second round. Guard third.

Fire Sean McDermott.

The man has shown he has no semblance of identifying or developing offensive talent.

His firing would be step 1 in any serious effort to get this team back on the rails.

1 there was little other option

2 Max protect on every pass play give ANY the QB as much time as possible to find a receiver.

Emphasize ball security. You think?

4 More screen passes doesn't do crap for this team.

No run along and praise Brady on a Pats board   :D

You forgot 1

5 Put stickem on KB's hands

FIRE DABOLL

I can't even say he's the issue. They gave him nothing to work with. If we are going to start firing people, they won't, but I'd rather they start higher than that.

I don't think that's the way to go. Need talent.

Yes you need talent but you also need someone who can game plan and build a scheme around the "talent" you have.  Do you really think he is a good coordinator?  It all starts with coaching.

it's too late for this year. If we had a veteran back up we'd be around .500 right now

Tom Brady would look bad with the WR dropsies and fumbles this team makes.

1st thing you do is hire a successful,  NFL experienced OC...

Suggestions?

Not sure there are any out there.

I have nothing to prove he's a good OC. But simply  firing Daboll is not the way to go.

I just know any OC needs talent. I don't hate Daboll's scheme.

Maybe so, but he has built a quality defense in a short period of time. Like others I'm not happy with the way the season is going but it would only be fair to see him attempt to build the offense in the same manner next season. We always knew this was a 3 year play.

they need to get rid of Castillo and the fake QB coach

Agree with this. How do you even think it’s a good idea to bring in a guy who has not coached QB’s since 1989?! In what world does that ever make sense.

No, I don't have any....I'm not involved with the NFL to know things like this. That's the job of the GM and HC. I'm just saying  where to start fixing this mess
