Most have to work as they are not independently wealthy and in the real world have extremely few options for alternative employment. NFL players are not that much different. Even in a contract year a player that quits usually will not be courted by the top teams. Most of our guys are not in contract years and have no real leverage with the Bills or any other team. Most right now in their minds are thinking just get through to next year and hope things start to improve.

Expand None of the names you mention will be in line for anything other than a desperation last minute fill a roster spot at a bargain basement price. If McCoy were a few years younger then he might be different.

Had Benjamin turned over a new leaf he might be showing why he was worth a third round pick.
