Fadingpain
Who's watching? This game could be excellent, especially as it's in Death Valley. I'll be pulling for LSU. Fantastic atmosphere in the stadium at kickoff. Edited November 4, 2018 by Fadingpain
Fadingpain
First opening drive for 'Bama this year that resulted in a punt. Crowd going nuts down there. Anyone watching?!

Fadingpain
It's weird how they write a big yard marker number on the field every 5 yards and not every 10 like most places. And there's a TD for 'Bama. And they muff the PAT. LOL.
Augie
Not targeting? I guess I don’t understand it, but helmet to helmet. I don’t mind playing actual football. It’s a tough game with lots of moving parts is super fast mode.

Didn't seem like the most egregious "targeting" move of all time though.

They called it on jordan fuller today .... same thing. Led with shoulder, tried to go low to avoid the helmet but other player ducked down Edited November 4, 2018 by YoloinOhio

At least the director is doing a good job of finding the attractive women in the crowd. "LSU survives the first quarter." Hopefully they can make it a game. Simple solution: if concerned about player safety, flag any helmet to helmet 15 yards. But do not eject a kid for the game (and sometimes the 1st half of the next game!) unless there is clear intent on the replay. Otherwise it’s just an egregiously bad rule.

It’s probably happened, but I have yet to see it called on the offensive player. Things are moving fast out there! I grew up LOOKING for helmet to helmet! I remember seeing a lot of woozy looking guys, but never got my bell rung. Or....maybe the damage was done and I was just too stupid to know! That could explain a LOT! YoloinOhio
Is anyone going to tell Gary Danielson that the term is “12th man” not “11th man”?

Gary may have been a helmet to helmet victim one too many times. NOW....miss the kick again!!!

YoloinOhio
“Coach O, Why did you punt on 4th-and-2 from Bama 43?" "OOOOHYOYOYOYOYOYOYO, YO, YO, FOOTBALL!"
Fadingpain
That INT is like a long punt and now LSU is going to be way backed up. Maybe they can put together a 97 yard drive.
Augie
INT pinned them deeper than a punt was likely to. Now, can LSU move the ball....at ALL?
