Remember when Geno was just the cats balls   And then he was a 2nd rounder. And then a bust. 

Same with Jimmy Claussen. 

 

He reminds me of the Favre/Rodgers type player. 

 

If he remains uninjured I expect he will have a Mahomes type rise and we will not really have a shot.

Seems like Grier is projected mid-1st/early 2nd.  I would be tremendously disappointed if we drafted a QB with our first 2 picks.

Something about his moxy that stands out to me. 

He doesn’t have a huge arm. 

But guy is just a QB. He’s got it between the ears and he’s got the swagger.

Geno was just an athlete Webb played for Cal.

 

Grier is a gamer and not a starter IMO, at best a case Keenum , should be a quality backup.

I like him but dont think we would go after him.  I'll take him over herbert for sure!  He had issues(steroids) at Florida so not sure he fits mold of what Beane wants.
