Marv's Neighbor Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 Anyone who can afford ticket(s) AND have enough left over to get drunk must be doing something right. 2
BillsfaninChicago Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 Indiapolis is number 5? I have been to that stadium twice it was as quiet as church there. 6
Fadingpain Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 (edited) Are they using any quantitative method to draw these conclusions, or are the numbers just made up? Are they going by alcohol sold in the stadium or what? Edited November 2, 2018 by Fadingpain 1

NoHuddleKelly12 Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 This has to be a metric almost impossible to objectively quantify as a whole; how are you supposed to account for the fans who stay home and down a 12-pack in the friendly confines of their living rooms as opposed to going out and getting a DUI, or aren't buying beer at the stadium, et al; or the fans going to the sports bar, or the fans staying in the tailgate lots, or the fans like me who watch and root from afar, and any alcohol they (or I) buy goes into the economic metrics of an altogether different metro area hundreds of miles away? I appreciate the effort, but the stats will always be playing catch up to reality with this one, IMHO.
Seasons1992 Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 As of before LAST season, WE were the leaders. That hasn't changed, I guarantee it, I contribute to it, etc. I had the damn piechart on my office wall! 1
Irv Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 If they are just counting sales inside the stadium, that makes up about 1.04% of total alcohol consumption at OBD. 1
