Robin Hood & The Grinch still have a ways to catch up with Dracula on remakes.
Bills4everNY Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Bohemian Rhapsody and Creed 2 I will see in the theater.

It will be this way until the end of the year. I'm very interested in seeing "The Front Runner".

It sounds like a really boring story. There are obvious parallels to recent presidential campaigns, but that doesn't make it interesting.

DC Tom Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 The last time I looked forward to a movie as much as Bohemian Rhapsody was...The Phantom Menace. So I'm a little concerned... 3

As much as I love Disney, I thought that "Wreck-It Ralph" was just ok, but it had a great movie poster. I'm not exactly thrilled for a sequel, although getting a lot of the original voices for the Disney Princesses is a nice touch.

On the other hand, if we don't go to the show to view it (and wait for DVD or cable), I won't be heartbroken. 1
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 Bohemian Rhapsody was really good. There were a few times where I believe the music was chronologically incorrect, but I could be wrong, and they used them in places where the song fit the plot. But as a Queen fan, I definitely enjoyed it. Wanna go see the Elton John one this summer.

The director purposely kept it PG-13 in order to share the story with younger audiences, and the movie certainly doesn't delve too deeply into the other band members' lives (and I can't imagine why we'd want it to). It's a Freddie Mercury movie that also tells the story of Queen. We absolutely loved it, and if Rami Malek doesn't win the Oscar it will be an upset. 1

There were a few historical inaccuracies with songs being played out of order. As well as some other timeline issues, but tells the story and builds the character very well.
Soda Popinski Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Has anyone else seen the Ballad of Buster Scruggs on Netflix? It's 6 short stories set in the west and it's a Cohen brothers movie. I loved it. Some were funny and some were morbid, but they were all great stories. 1
The Poojer Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 Just watched it last night/this morning. What an incredible 'movie'. I always thought Tim Blake Nelson was one of the more underappreciated Coen Brothers actors, he was incredible. I thought each little vignette was mesmorizing and holy crap, the cinematography was mind blowing. Still trying to make sense of the last part, thought I had it figured out but then i didn't. The performances by the entire cast was outstanding. I can't stop with the superlatives. On 11/20/2018 at 8:00 AM, Soda Popinski said: Has anyone else seen the Ballad of Buster Scruggs on Netflix?
