He was one of the very, very few who would take the Bills over the Dolphins to win the AFC East. Like it or not, as we get OLD, this happens more and more frequently. Sad.

 

Van Miller and Keith Jackson left a major hole in my sports universe, that's for sure, and Rick Jeanneret will be the last of the great sports announcers.

I used to subscribe to SI, started in grade 6 and right through high school.  Loved getting mail and reading SI cover to cover.
