78thealltimegreat Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Checking out the mocks it appears with our top 5ish pick WR is probably 10 picks to high Greg Little a true franchise tackle for 10 years is sitting there but your a defensive guy and Ed Oliver has somehow fallen to 5 what do you do?
YoloinOhio Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Oliver’s weight is going to be a big topic during pre-draft. He’s really light.
Soda Popinski Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Aaron Donald is light too, and he seems to be doing pretty well. Now I do want to see Oliver in the senior bowl, is he a senior? he needs to face some NFL competition. 1
McBean Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Little all day every day. We need to PROTECT Allen and we haven’t had a true franchise LT since Peters. Build the line back up and give Allen some weapons. Any and everything to help him succeed. 3 1
Soda Popinski Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 I think we need to wait until we see more from Little. I remember the hype behind Orlando Brown last year, until he ran a 6 second 40 and benched 225 8 times. He looked terrible. Really interested to see Oliver as well. 1
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 My completely unbiased opinion is Ed Oliver is the greatest defensive player to come into the draft since Bruce Smith.
Maybe Someday Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 I don't follow college FB all that much so at first I thought this was about signing Greg Little, the WR that we had in camp a few years ago.
PetermansRedemption Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 My thinking at the moment. If you are drafting top 2 and can get Oliver or Bosa you do it. If you cannot then you trade down and go offensive line or WR. Just do not reach for a WR in the top 5 of this draft. 3

MrEpsYtown Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Has to be Bosa. Oliver is interesting, but he isn't Donald. I don't think he is Warren Sapp. He is somewhere between that and Maurice Hurst to me. To me Little is super inconsistent and needs a lot of work. Are we moving Dawkins to RT? If Little is a RT I'm out. I would never draft a right tackle with a top ten pick.

TheBeaneBandit Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 How about the injured Washington LT Adams? I haven't seen him play so looking for opinions on him.

And when he went against Bosa, he pretty much won nearly all battles against him. Its a reason I'm not sold on Bosa.

Thats why we need to see him 1 on 1 vs NFL level competition, is he a senior? Hopefully he plays in the senior bowl.

Of course, there are many, many more plays in that game.... Point out what else he did in that game, especially the 2nd half when Mayfield was shredding them.

Good lord I would introduce you to Greg Schiano’s scheme but I am having a good day and refuse to ruin it discussing that Back 7 tragedy I’m still living every week. There is a reason he’s so highly thought of by nfl scouts who watch his film. I’m not one of those scouts but they seem to agree.
