CTV Toronto is throwing in the towel on the Bills earlier than normal this year, airing Steelers/Ravens on Sunday. Bills/Colts must have been a low rated game, as Canadian stations LOATH giving up a simulcast (ie Canadian commercials playing over an American broadcast on both the Canadian and US stations in Canada).

wow

just wow.....

i can't recall this happening in town outside of a blackout game in over 40 years...

In Toronto we've been screwed over ROYALLY with the NFL Sunday Ticket on cable and DAZN, so they owe it us to carry as many games as they can....

Ticket prices for the three December home games are going to be sky high.

If you have cable it'll still be on FOX or the Barrie station (maybe would work with a digital adapter as well depending on the area). Is DAZN still bad?

here's the deal....

1.  Rogers sports addict package for $1 a day carried the entire NFL Sunday Ticket for at least 20 years until last summer. It also carries basically every MLB, NBA, NHL and tons of NCAAF and hoops plus other stuff.

2.  DAZN stepped in and snaked Sunday Ticket for which Rogers was left with only local broadcasts for Toronto and West Coast feeds, plus tried to grab a few more.

3.  But at the start of the season Rogers blocked off a dozen channels to carry NFL games from week one without coverage, they knew the whole time what they would be doing...

4.  DAZN has been a disaster for carrying the NFL real time, into a second year.

5. So Rogers came back wanting $100 extra for half the season last season and $200 for the whole 2018 season.

They had set this up from week one last year to screw over customers who enjoyed the games for 20 years and have not discounted the sports addict package after screwing us out of NFL Sunday Ticket.
