Irv Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 (edited) If the Bills were to ever leave Buffalo and become say, the St Louis Bills. Would you still be a Bills fan or would you pick another team and who would that be? I'm not entirely sure but I think I would become a Steelers fan or maybe just stop watching NFL completely. The_Dude Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 They'd be like the Ravens and instantly become good. Maybe it's the lake? 1
wagon127 Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 I would hate the St. Louis Bills more then I currently hate the patriots. I probably would become a Browns fan or something. 2
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 The Saint Louis (or wherever) Bills wouldn't make sense, so hopefully they'd get a brand new identity. Names, colors, etc, like the Ravens did. I'd then hate the franchise with a passion. Would probably come around to the Texans since they're local, but would only watch occassionally, and would never come around to loving them like I do the Bills. If that happened, the CFL could probably expand, use the Ralph. Buy whatever licencing fees they need to call the team the Bills. Get the logo, colors, jerseys back, and I guarantee there'd be some success there, simply because we'd need to fill the void left somehow. They'd never be as big as the AFL/NFL Bills were, but it'd certainly fill the void. Same way The Bandits picked up a cult following starting with the NHL lockout back in the mid 2000s.
Fadingpain Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 I would probably view the NFL as I do hockey in the playoffs, with the Sabres eliminated. I.E., just try to enjoy and hope for a good game and may the best team win. If for some reason a specific team spoke to me in a natural, organic way, and I grew to like them, I might adopt them as my own. Who knows. 1
Guest K-GunJimKelly12 Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 I would never watch the NFL again.
teef Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 no...no, no, no. we were forced to play this game for real at one point, so no more. 2
jletha Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 No chance I would support the new team, wherever they went. I would become a Browns fan based on geography and the fact that Im well conditioned for misery. Also nobody could accuse me of being a bandwagoner. 1
WhoTom Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 Since Mrs. Pegula is younger than me, I think it's unlikely that it would happen in my lifetime. But if it did, I'd just become a Packers fan, since they're the only team owned by the fans. (I already root for them except when they play the Bills.)
Soda Popinski Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 *insert Notre Dame fight song here* Sundays would open up for me. 3
Kelly the Dog Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 We would be living in a parallel universe, which could be kinda cool, except for the Bills thing.
gonzo1105 Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 I honestly think that would give a huge push to The University at Buffalo to be honest. Bills fans are passionate and will do anything for a winner obviously but I think Bills fans would get behind UB because they would need their football fix. Everyone has always said the tailgates mad stadium atmosphere are very College like. 1

Notre Dame is a close second since my Great Grandfather (who passed before I was born) was a season ticket holder. Took the train from Buffalo to South Bend every game. Got passed down through the generations. I've only become a Houston fan because I started attending games and got season tickets. But unless it effects the Cougars in the standings, I still root for the Irish. 1
