Phil The Thrill Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 Looks like they won’t make a move for McCoy. Can’t see them giving up a 3rd and 4th this season for 1 rental and and a 30 year old RB

DC Tom Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 Only a 3rd? Sounds more like a Silver Tate. 2 2

HappyDays Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 I wish we were in on that one. He was a possible free agent option next year but not anymore.
GunnerBill Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 Wonder if they plan to extend him? If they do that is the top pending FA off the market.
whatdrought Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 This is a guy who seems like a great fit for that team. Hope he does well. Surprised they weren't looking more for a speed guy though.

I’m not sure, Tate’s name has been floated for awhile now so I don’t think it has anything to do with just this season. Pending FA, trying the Patriot way and getting a pick instead of letting him walk? That’s the only thing that makes sense from Detroit’s side. Edited October 30, 2018 by Commonsense

They don’t have much cap space.
Coach Tuesday Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 He's a great player - good for the Eagles, rich getting richer.

That’s my concern. He’s the guy that I thought we should have overpaid for this offseason. That FA WR market will be terrible.
Aussie Joe Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 If the Eagles don’t resign him and be goes elsewhere for $11m a year then they will get the 3rd round pick back as a comp pick the following year..
416BillsFan Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 Ugh, our 3rd rounder was so much tastier. Hard to think of a better receiver available at that price to help out Allen, especially with the amount of cap space we'd have next year to extend him.
