I think that is the way to go, i forget his name but the agent that represented Peters during that whole debacle, the one who never returned any calls/faxes/emails i never liked that kind of negotiation.    I don't think he's alive anymore and I don't want to talk crap about him just that technique was IMO not a good way to do business.

Trading shady would be wise imo.  For those only pointing out ivory vs shady though I do want to add that shady is likely our best WR.  He would be very much missed.  If JA were to have many more starts this season then shady would make more sense to keep just for JA to have him there to throw to.

Could be he had frequent flier miles to use up, or maybe it's a slow time for him with MLB just finishing so he thought he would make the trip for Pryor.

Doubt he makes the trip in person for a deal to finish up the season for Pryor, or Shady being moved. The team would speak to the agent face to face to just let him know they are trading his client.

A trip for Pryor for a free MMF game to see Brady is exactly what it was.

The look on his face last night was- get me out of here.

Always take a young, workhorse rb rounds 3-5- another big mistake.

Idk about that, but it certainly wasn't good.

And frankly, he's a shell of his former self. I honestly think that today Ivory is the better HB. Shady is still much better in open space, but just doesn't run downhill and dances around but isn't fast enough anymore to make it around the defense. We can't suffer through 5 negative runs every game just for one 25 yard cutback. Cutondime just doesn't describe McCoy anymore.

I would rather give 20 carries to Ivory. If we get a credible offer for Shady we absolutely should pull the trigger.

Pryor is a big enough deal that his power agent flies into town for a 1 or 2 year deal? Not sure

I hope we sign Pryor and trade Benjamin today. Cmon Bean.

Absolutely agree- he has lost a step and the things he used to do he just cant anymore. Ivory should have seen more carries with Shady split out.

I liked Witten's candid comment on the broadcast last night on the Benjamin trade.   Whitten called it a "miss"....which is an understatement.  A 3rd round pick and paying Benjamin $15 mil this year.....that is loony tunes based on the results.  Lets hope McBean recognizes it, and are not loyal to their guy.....let him walk at the end of the year.

Agree! I don't understand why they don't put Ivory in the backfield and let Shady place wide out, plenty of space out there. Heck, the Pats played a WR/KR at RB why can't Shady play WR?

We see eye to eye! Why not bring Ivory back, draft one and grab one in FA?

It is a passing league no need to break the bank on a rb- get one that can pound it between the tackle and can pass protect.

Ivory is solid. Compliments a young quick twitchy guy a la Ingram/Kamera... like the recipe

Rosenhaus was flying out of Buffalo.  We were on the same flight.  Buffalo to Dulles.  I just looked him up through a google search.  RSR stands for Rosenhaus Sports Representation.  Unfortunately his wife didnt look all that great compared to internet photos.  Figures.

Maybe she failed the "how to look like a porn actress" class that so many of these high profile women appear to have taken?

I would say because we have an incompetent coaching staff- the same kind of staff that wrecked Carr in Houston. McClappy is lost on the offensive side and hired freakin Daboll who plain stinks.

As much as I like McCoy, it's time for him to go. He's often injured and his production is waning (at least it is for this team).  If he stays it's because other teams aren't willing to make a good offer or that Beane correctly concludes that his defensive players will be pissed if they see the team reducing talent on an already very weak offense.

Exactly what I said last week. If they ship Shady this team implodes.
