longtimebillsfan Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 If Derek Anderson can't play for an extended time, who do you think the Bills should pick up. The popular choices seem to be Sam Bradford or Tyrod. Bradford has not looked very good this season and is injury prone. Tyrod will add some versatility to our offense and he will limit turnovers. This option may compliment our strong defense. Yes, Tyrod will still throw for 190 yards on a good day, but the reduced turnovers will help this team immensely. Turn overs have cost us a couple move victories. What other viable options are available? 2
HamSandwhich Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 Tyrod no! Bradford sucks too, but only if he's cheap. No worse than DA. Just start Peterman and be done with this season! 2
KRT88 Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 Both players have huge contracts (only for one year) but at his stage, does it matter.

Nuncha Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 (edited) Unless Allen can come back (which seems unlikely) Peterman is our QB......hey he drove us on our last TD drive over 2 games ago. Do you really think they are going to pick someone up this week to start Sunday? It is already Tuesday. Enough with the TAYLOR crap. Keep him far in the rear view mirror. Do you think any of the QB's you mention are going to save this season? LOL! Lose out and get the best pick in the draft. This team has zero talent on offense, and a really lousy coordinator. peterpan Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 I'm all in on Tebow. He did it with Denver!!!!
oldmanfan Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 They've had Landry Jones in for a look. I imagine he'd be a logical choice.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 (edited) Mike RodakESPN Staff Writer Bills coach Sean McDermott said QB Derek Anderson was being evaluated after suffering an undisclosed injury late in Monday night's loss to the Patriots. Is that why he didn't try to tackle the pick 6 runner? edit - he was hurt later after I turned the game off. still he gave up on the play and turned away instead of trying to shove him OOB. We have QBs already on the roster that will do that. 7 minutes ago, Fadingpain said: The fear with Peterman revolves around the INTs he likes to throw. davefan66 Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 They had Landry Jones in right before they signed Anderson, smart money would be him. Kap is still available, and will remain so. Isn’t Pryor a QB?? Had him in yesterday! Can’t play both QB and WR...especially when Benjamin is sent packing. If Anderson is out, Peterman starts and some schlep is signed to backup.
Mrbojanglezs Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 Why? What's the point we are out of the playoffs just play Peterman 3

Hang on to your hats Just now, Mrbojanglezs said: Why? What's the point we are out of the playoffs just play Peterman How much worse can it get? We see pick 6's w/o him. At least he produced the TD pass to our leading WR Zay Jones.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 Offer Tampa a 2nd for Winston and hope they weren’t planning on paying him.
ALF Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 (edited) I just don't want to risk further injury to Allen behind this OL and coaching. Just have quick passing plays the rest of the season for whoever is unfortunate enough to be QB. Put another OT in at the TE position. Logan Thomas seems sturdy enough to withstand the punishment as the QB Edited October 30, 2018 by ALF
MrEpsYtown Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 Unfortunately, they would have to go with Peterman. If I am Anderson I am not feeling great about the decision to come back. He was not expecting to play and now he is getting his butt kicked and embarrassing himself. He probably should have stayed on the couch. Peterman sucks, but he gives the team a better chance to win than some guy off the street. 2
