Unless the agent can do a better job of selling a deal, it may not happen. . . .

 

In effect he's saying - look a-hole - you were so interested in going public initially, and now you and your client keep opening your big mouths - now you're on the spot - c'mon, you were going to be the hero and get your client a deal - let's see it.
