reddogblitz Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Good. Now they'll just have to sell more personal data to raise money to pay the tax.
IDBillzFan Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 (edited) You know what's funny? That someone can say this..... Quote “It is only right that these global giants, which are profitable in the UK, pay their fair share in supporting our public services,” Hammond said when announcing the new 2% tax, without naming any specific businesses. ...with literally no awareness of what happened to all the other political parties who pushed the ridiculous idea that "it's only right" that people with money "pay their fair share." I half expected Hammond to further explain that these global giants "didn't build that...someone else did it." Edited November 1, 2018 by LABillzFan 1

B-Man Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 (edited) Can anyone explain why this pro-life campaign ad was rejected by Facebook? (video) We here at Twitchy aren’t pro journalists like Jim Acosta or Chuck Todd, but we do try to verify every claim. Did Facebook really “ban” a pro-life campaign ad for Montana Senate candidate Matt Rosendale? Well, Susan B. Anthony List has the receipts; Facebook clearly said the ad was “disapproved” after “closer review.” Here’s the spot — and in case you’re wondering if it has graphic images of abortion, no, it does not. There’s an image of a sonogram and that’s it. See for yourself: Nothing wrong with that ad. Facebook is openly engaging in election meddling. . Democrats would be out in the streets vandalizing property and assaulting people (even more than they currently do) if the shoe were on the other foot. . Edited November 1, 2018 by B-Man

Why is fascism so damn appealing to you? What gives you the right to use the force of government to restrict the political rights of others?

Then it goes away all by itself. Or start a better company and take all of Facebook's customers.
boyst Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 I miss Myspace. Tom would ever have done this to us. Just smiling nicely there for us to see.

Agreed, though I'm fairly sure Joe isn't advocating for market based solutions here. If he is, he should feel free to correct me, and I'll offer a mea culpa.
