The Browns were still very good and Pittsburgh did not become the franchise they are known for today until 1970. Actually, the Steelers were very terrible from 1940 to 1971. Buffalo made Ralph Wilson some serious coin, He made a lot more than just the 1.4 billion. I mean its easy complaining about overpaid athletes, but their salaries and contracts are known. The average fan can't say what owner x made this year but they can tell you Kalil Mack's contract, years, and signing bonus. i do salute Ralph for giving it away after he was gone.
