When you're there, you'll hear "Hey mister." Go talk to him. Then go into the gunshop. Hold the gunsmith at gunpoint, but don't shoot him, and he'll unlock the basement for you. Then some messed up stuff goes on, then you can kill him. I got it squared away. My issue was, instead of just tapping RT to aim your gun I think I held it and shot the guy the first time.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 What are good ways to bring up your honor quickly? Mine is really low because when I first started, I enjoyed shooting people just for fun, not knowing there were long term effects. I greet everybody I pass which sometimes seems to help. And started the random side missions with people who are broken down on the road and stuff.

The only ways that I found were to help out people who are in trouble i.e. bitten by a snake, getting robbed, caught in a bear trap....etc.

Also, sometimes random people come up and punch me. Or I legit knock into them by mistake, and they fight me, and it won't let me diffuse. I don't have time for BS, so I usually just pull out my gun and shoot them. Also, I saw a cop chasing a suspect in Saint Denis the other day. I shot the suspect, thinking it would get me in good with the cops, but then the cops came after me. How am I supposed to deal with this situation?

I helped a bartender kill rats in his place in St. Dennis and also helped a guy free his wife from robbers outside of St. Dennis tonight and it helped. I get 10% discount at stores and I'm about 2/3 into the white on the meter

(while Dutch has asked the gang not to create trouble in Rhodes) edit - you can. I didn’t shoot the shopkeeper though. I let him live. Not sure what would’ve happened if I shot him. I've tried to keep mine pretty high and that matches pretty well with Arthur's general demeanor in most of his interactions (other than when he announces his return to camp). I'd love it if he would instead be a dick in a lot of the cut scenes if he had low honor, but I'm sure that's tough to program into the game. My honor is as low as it can go and the attitude in cut scenes seems the same all the way through the game. 1
CommonCents Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 The storm troopers outside of St. Denis killed my white stallion. Those guys have some real fire power, I was under heavy fire and had a few dogs on me/her. When I respawned all I could get was my saddle and my crappy back up horse.

Im not real big into the horror games anymore. My nerves don’t handle all the scares as well as they used to... lol I might throw it on my GameFly rental list though, just to try it.

The early resident evils are more nostalgic to me than anything else. 1
BillsFan4 Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 I did a bank robbery last night and managed to get out of it with only a $5 bounty. It was getting late so I saved and figured I’d ride to a post office to pay the bounty today. So I load my save just now and the bounty has somehow jumped to $120! Wtf is that? lol
shrader Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 I ran into the hanging victim trap again last night. So it's something far more disturbing than those Murfree people. The attackers looked like zombies. This time I was able to stick around and shoot down the body. It had a note talking about a group of people called the Night Folk. I hope I run into them again because there's potential for creepiness there.

I got attacked by three of those zombie guys, took them all out but I didn’t get anything for it.

I was fishing for the legendary in there and when I left, my horse was suddenly spooked by something and a strange single mysterious note played. Arthur said something like "...was that", but when I looked around, I didn't see anything. It was super foggy too, so it's very possible I just missed something. Oh, and I bagged the legendary jaguar yesterday. That was a serious pain in the ass. Damn thing must have killed me at least ten times without even getting a single shot off. Somehow I actually managed to sneak up on it the last time. I wasn't messing around at that point, so I blew it's head off with the only explosive rifle round I had. I enjoyed seeing that headless jaguar on the back of my horse as I took it to the trapper. 1
