26CornerBlitz Posted October 25, 2018 Author Posted October 25, 2018 By Elliot Harrison NFL.com Analyst New Orleans Saints 28, Minnesota Vikings 27 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC) | U.S. Bank Stadium (Minneapolis) You will see the Minneapolis Miracle more times this weekend than the Stefon Diggs' hands-stick-to-everything commercials. (Which, by the way ... Why wasn't Diggs walking with an unhinged door attached to his palm? Hey, how did he get outside!? Is he one of those tech cowboys in Santa Clara who wears low-rise Converse, shaggy jeans and has an automatic sliding door installed in his home?) The Saints are coming off an important road win at Baltimore, and will face another such test against a talented defense, with crowd noise an obvious factor. Talented, but not stronger than the Ravens' unit. The Vikings' key to winning is generating pressure in Brees' face (something Baltimore couldn't do enough) and Kirk Cousins challenging the Saints downfield. The Saints' secondary hasn't been stressed vertically much in the team's past two games, with Alex Smith and Joe Flacco going a combined 2-of-8 on deep passes (20-plus air yards) against New Orleans during that span.

Big Turk Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 Already got the NFC Championship game from last year rematch a few weeks ago with Philly and Minnesota, now we get the NFC divisional rematch from last year with NO and Minnesota...
26CornerBlitz Posted October 28, 2018 Author Posted October 28, 2018 Week 8: Chiefs close out games, Rodgers vs. Rams 4. I have very virtually no insight—even less so than usual!—to add on the gem of a Sunday nighter between the Saints and Vikings. Minnesota gets Everson Griffen back to a defense that is trending in the right direction, but is in part trending that way due to back-to-back games against rookie QBs leading weak offenses (the Cardinals and Jets). The Saints will be a good litmus test. As for New Orleans, they got beat by Sam Bradford and Case Keenum last year, now they get Kirk Cousins and a Vikings offense that’s better than it was at any point last year. These are good and interesting things that should keep you from doing anything else on Sunday night. Like watching the World Series like a goober. Or going to church. Night church.
Kirby Jackson Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 This game should be incredible. The Saints have the Vikings today and the Rams next weekend. That should be the ultimate test.
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 I wagered Saints -1. Love Brees in a dome and the Vikings aren't what they were last year- running game has fallen off and D-line isnt dominating. Saints are clicking and Payton should carve up Zimmer's predictable defense. Who dat?
