Zerovoltz Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 Thought I’d give you all an update on Ragland in KC. you win. Ragland is playing in the wrong era of football when it was important to have that run stuffing thumper at MLB. Its not working out here in KC. Ragland is virtually useless as he can not cover and he isn’t even able to make plays in the run game. He lacks speed. KC drafted a guy named Dorian O’Daniel in round three this year out of Clemson. He was a tweener safety LB type. He finally got real snaps this past week. Talk about night and day, suddenly were able to cover the back out of the backfield. Raglands time here is short. It’s very clear he is a relic from another time. congratulations. 9 6
Wayne Arnold Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 This makes up for the Mahomes trade. 1 31
N.Y. Orangeman Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 Thanks. I hope Mahomes helps balance everything out ? 1 4
TheBeaneBandit Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 There are no winners here lol. Bills traded up for this guy so they blew very high resources to begin with. 5

At least the new regime was smart enough to move him early and recoup as much as they could before people actually figured out that he was terrible. 2

Roundybout Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 He made one good play a couple weeks ago and people on this forum lost their minds. 1

Rags is Brandon Spike 2.0... Mahommes though... ?

Good scouting from Veach...DOD was part of a group of primarily coverage 'backers along with Fred Warner, Jerome Baker, Oren Burks, Genard Avery, and Jermaine Carter that were projected to go in rounds 3-5 and play in sub-packages almost immediately. Unless you're shooting for the moon with a guy like Tremaine Edmunds, then there's no need to spend an early pick on an ILB in today's NFL. 1
YoloinOhio Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 I think Mahomes just threw another touchdown 2 4

skibum Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 (edited) Meanwhile, we still stink and the Chiefs are the second coming of the '99 Rams. Edited October 24, 2018 by skibum 1

Soda Popinski Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 So you're telling me McDermott and Beane made the right decision to move on from him even though he was a LB from Alabama and we needed LBs last year? Inconceivable.
