No, you're both right that's an odd combo. It's overkill.

No, it's not.  Dispersal of biological weapons with explosives is the most common planned method - US and Soviet bioweapons were specifically engineered to be resistant to heat and pressure for that very reason.

But packing white powder in an envelope with a pipe bomb isn't quite the same thing.  Like I said earlier: amateur hour, by someone with "Discovery Channel" level knowledge of the subject.

Pipe Bomb and Powder Delivered to CNN Were Harmless

The pipe bomb and white powder that forced an evacuation at CNN headquarters in New York City Wednesday morning were harmless, a law enforcement source told the Associated Press.

The purported explosive device was similar in construction to those sent Wednesday to former President Barack Obama, former attorney general Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton, Representative Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D., Fla.), and Representative Maxine Waters of California. A package containing white powder was delivered later in the day.

The NYPD said the explosive devices were live during a Wednesday afternoon press conference but subsequent reporting suggests they were not functional.

Rubin's 'never seen a mass assassination attempt on this level before' comment has been earning her a lot of online mocking, but the left seems to not care how wrong they are about everything. They just keep making things up, letting them go, moving on to the next lie.

Truth is far down the list for them. It's all about perception and numbers. If they can sway a few percent of the brain dead voters, or somehow motivate potheads out of their parent's basements to vote, the truth isn't necessary. I'm sure SNL and the late night talk show comedian dbag hosts will be reinforcing this for the rest of the week and weekend.

These fake bombs were never intended to reach their destinations (IDK about the one to Soros). They were intended to be discovered and stopped within the post office because lack of postage and then made public. 6 stamps is not enough postage to mail out something that heavy, one would need to go into the post office, be on camera spend about $20 and get a receipt with a tracking number on it. These were purposely put into envelopes and dropped into mailboxes anonymously, a real bomber would have used a box and the package would have reached it's destination. This has DNC/Antifa stink all over it.

Dearest FBI and CIA and others noting. This is hypothetical and not at all anything I or anyone should attempt. But...

If one wanted to stage a major ***** chaotic scene of gore against politicians than one would do ***** like this.  One would get buildings evacuated a few times. Then climb upon a perch once they figure it's more random ***** and use a bump stock Las Vegas style moment to make the terrorist statement.  This is what is fear most of all beyond another Las Vegas style incident of civilians - one of civilians

From fed source: “complete hoaxes”

multiple wires when they only needed one.

Reports of cell phones being involved was false.

So no intention of harm.

Now the questions. Dry run, or a false flag from the right or left trying to mess over the other side?

But (of course) all the media will discuss is "harmful" rhetoric

I’m old enough to remember when the President’s son received a package with white powder in his home.

That package was opened & the powder released onto his wife who was hospitalized.

It included a note that said “You get what you deserve.”

It was a 2 hour news cycle

No outrage

Joe Biden and John Kerry must feel offended.  They're not as important as they thought they were.

I think Dan Rather felt the same way when he didn’t get an anthrax letter sent to him after 911.

Jesus Christ is that for real?

He ought to just cite that chyron, and say "I didn't do that, someone else made it happen."
