DrDawkinstein Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 How much money would/could Pegula throw at Tony Romo to bring him in as OC/Asst HC, with the plan to flip him to HC in a year or so? Romo out-coached Garrett at the end of the Cowboys game last night. Making the proper calls from the booth on what they should do, and then watching Garrett screw it up. Git'r'dun. 3

K D Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 Coaches arrive at 5am and sometimes pull all nighters and sleep in their office. There isn't a dollar figure that would get Romo to leave a job where he works 2-3 days a week and gets paid almost as much as a coach anyhow, especially in Buffalo. Cowher has turned down the Bills multiple times 5
boyst Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 (edited) I'd do about $3.50 Edit: this is why I wanted the push for Frank Reich to be added to our fold. Edited October 22, 2018 by Boyst62 1

At least a mil more a year than he's making on TV. 1 minute ago, WRONG JOSH said: Coaches arrive at 5am and sometimes pull all nighters and sleep in their office. Soda Popinski Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 If we were going to bring someone from the booth, I would want it to be Bruce Arians.
Aussie Joe Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 (edited) And to think people have been critical about McDermotts lack of HC experience.. Outcoaching Garrett is not exactly an indicator that Romo has a superior coaching mind.. Edited October 22, 2018 by Aussie Joe

Not a bad choice, but Im looking for someone who can hold the position for the next 10 years. I think Arians is burnt out and done.

davefan66 Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 (edited) Yeah. Romo will give up a cushy announcer job to coach the Bills. If he did coach, most likely its the Cowboys. I say we sign Kelly as HC, Thurman as OC, Bruce as DC and Tasker as ST. We’d be pretty awesome! Edited October 22, 2018 by davefan66 2

17 Josh Allen Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 I Think he lives in Dallas. So I think he might be the Next Cowboys coach. Now that’s a strong possibility but no he’s not living in Buffalo. His whole life is in Dallas.
