After multiple blowout losses I see no one benched, I see no one disciplined and I see next to no change in players demeanor.

It has become, yeah, we were bad, we need to forget it now and move on to next week.

I feel McD is a weak coach and nearing the half way point if the season, he's lost the team.

The roster moves, the blowout losses, the seemingly lack of accountability at any real level, feels like this team is just going through the motions.

This is the absolute worse shape I've ever seen this team in under any coaching staff this millennium.

This team doesn't even look competitive.  It's embarrassing.

McD is implementing “trust in the process”. Accountability. So far the biggest reprimand has been pulling Frazier’s DC play calling.

What's he going to do? Beat them? If they're working hard then that's all you can ask. If they suck then they suck. The should have done a better job in the offseason, especially at the QB position. At this point, this is what you have to work with.

Benjamin shouldve been benched weeks ago. He's talented and easily our best receiver but he's lazy and it's creating turnovers. Set an example and wake the team up

If that's true, is this a new thing for him?  Can't imagine the brain trust taking him if they knew that.  I agree, that he wouldn't be missed.

What are U talking about.....too easy on team? He put this team together! He stripped away all the talent......The team is too easy on McDermott for the garbage decisions he has made

There is just nowhere to turn.

There are no players that we can turn to off the bench for more offense.

And our Coach is a defensive coordinator, so even if he wanted to, how could he scheme up more offense?

Allen is weeks out, Peterman is unplayable.

So its 35 year old Derek Anderson and the slowest offense in the league trying to manufacture 10 points to squeak by.

I’m not sure how we can tell how McD is treating the players when we’re not with them all week to observe how he treats them.

In any case, it doesn’t really matter.  We have the lowest paid roster in the NFL.  We just don’t have much talent.  Being hard on talentless players doesn’t make them play like Pro Bowlers.

if McD benched the entire offense, would anyone notice?

This offense is almost at the point where they should punt on first down.

they did get rid of quite a few players on offense. I'm not saying Tyrod would make a huge difference, but there certainly is a benefit to not having a QB that turns the ball over.

The really awful part of this, is that , except for probably planning on  McCarron to start at least early in the season, this is pretty much the offensive lineup they wanted.

Yup. Some of the posts on here are almost as bad as that game was.

The lineup they wanted? That's overstating it, I think.

More like the lineup they chose based on the limitations inherent in the situation ... particularly their promise to the owners to clean up the cap by the end of this season, the need to acquire a lot of draft capital in case it was needed to bring in a young QB and their obvious plan to prioritize the defense over the offense this early in the process.
