This GM, This Coach, This Ownership, has deliberately set this team up to fail.

Just look at all the moves they made to gut the team. Just look at all the moves they havent made to improve this team.

They tried really hard last year, and if it wasnt for that meddling Dalton, they would have succeded.

That was a little Scooby Doo humor!

So they can screw up more drafts

6 starters and a couple more depth players is damn good and anyone who says otherwise has it out for the regime.

Okay, and just what is the endgame?  Sorry, the theory doesn’t make sense.

Seriously?

They moved as many veterans that are not a part of the future off the books this year, have loaded up on draft picks next year, and have  $90 million in cap space. What exactly is it that you don’t see?

So how many years do we as bills fans have to wait

Yep. There's so much to be gained by sucking.

Your team value goes down. Ticket prices freeze. Your career reputation goes down. All so positive..lets deliberately suck.

OK, this easily goes to number one for TBD most stupidest post ever; so Beane and McDermott want to screw the only chance they will ever have at HC and GM. Step away from the bar, go home, and sleep it off!

No. I didn’t say that. I have no idea if they will be successful or not. But the plan is obvious.

Past seasons are a sunk cost. They are gone. Get over it. There is only today and how you move forward.

You have no idea what assurances they were given by the Pegulas.

So someone please tell me one move they've made that actually makes this team better?

Ive seen plenty of teams make trades as well as claims on guys that have been waived, that we wont even flinch on, that is unless they cane from Carolina, and suck!

Then we'll throw those types lots of money to come here and suck for us!

He said they were set up to fail. What would the point of that be? Sorry, but these guys aren’t going to ace every draft pick and get great FA signings to boot. Even if you buy what they’re selling, the OPs premise is planned failure by the enitire organization. You never plan to be the worst , at least not in football. It doesn’t work and just brings another housecleaning. It’s incompetence and poor execution of an even worse plan.

They have not maximized their roster talent to win this season. There are many melodramatic ways to characterize that. The OP chose one.

Agree with your premise. That said, I dont think these guys want to fail but are willing to fail. 2 years into it and we are on course. Money will be there and if we failed the picks were better.

If you mean that this year is and was always going to be a rebuilding year, then yes, you are correct.  It is deliberate.  Was anyone actually expecting playoffs this year?  Further, was anyone actually expecting more than 5 or 6 wins?
