Warcodered Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 What makes it suck more this season as opposed to others is probably a couple factors. First it's not the whole team the defense has been great and the offense has essentially been an anchor and while that definitely has to frustrate defensive players it's got to be right around the same level for the offense since nobody wants to be the reason the team loses. Second this year he's the senior guy on the Offense that puts a lot more weight to it.

Opposing teams are focused on stopping the run and forcing the Bills to pass the ball. Currently Buffalo in 13th in rush attempts and 21st in rush yards. If you look at the Buffalo QBs this season you have a very inexperienced second year guy, a rookie and a guy 3 weeks off the street. Yet, this OC calls for a lot of down field throws instead of setting up an offense to help bolster the run game like a short, quick passing scheme. The best way to help a rookie QB, or an inexperienced QB, or a guy just off the street is with a really good run game. Something the Buffalo Bills had just last year.
