That portion of the board had become almost completely unreadable before the Nathan Peterman Show took center stage.  I rarely surface there anymore except for the game day threads.  I posted there for the first time in longer than I can remember today, and did so only to make a joke.

As opposed to you posting daily here to be a joke.

Effffff you tasker!  Golf loving hippie.

Go to TBD and follow Badol. They kind of run neck and neck with really bad posts.

Despite his nasty attitude towards people who have the audacity to question the magnificence of his takes, at least Badol knows the subject matter and will hang around to explain himself. That's more than you can say for this guy.

The death of BBMB caused a wicked infestation over there, and it's almost like reading leftist political posts: they hate everything about everything, but have no basic, simple ability to understand that no one is making them follow the team.

They believe we're two years into a rebuild and should have things fixed by now. And heaven forbid you voice something like "Yes, the team sucks, but what did you expect?" They trash you for being a homer, and never admitting the team has problems, and they know better than you because they successfully predict failure in the NFL, which is literally the single easiest thing a fan can do.

It's bizarre.

I can't wrap my head around why people get so damn worked up over something that, in the grand scheme of things, isn't at all important.  It's a ***** football team.  It has zero bearing on anything that actually matters.

I get it, I like the laundry too.  I enjoy Bills football, and I enjoy it even more when they field a competitive team, or if they actually manage to win; but man, ***** me in the goat ass if I'm going to spend a single drop of emotional energy calling for "accountability".

Accountability for what?  They suck.  Who cares?  It doesn't matter.

I too hardly go “over there” anymore. It used to be each year around June when schools let out that we’d get a dozen or so newbies that polluted the place for awhile and then either shaped up or shipped out.

When BBMB went down there was a flood of “refugees” from that place with no place else to go. And many of them are displaying exactly why that site was closed.

Bottom line, it’s seriously degraded the football forum. Of course, The Bills’ suckitude hasn’t helped the situation either.

Seriously. It's ridiculous. Why is it that the only way to view the team is through the lens of misery? Badol and the rest simply must be miserable. They must hate the team. They must mock everything, including the owners, who literally were the one firewall keeping the team in Buffalo.

So much stupidity. But it's the reason I keep my Timmah Graham avatar. They love to hate the team and picking on Timmah to them is like picking on Obama to a socialist.

One of the things I was trying to explain to some of them last week is that when someone posts bad stats on Twitter, it's means to piss off the fans and get clicks.

So someone will post on Twitter something like "The Greater Macungie Pony Flag Football team threw more touchdown passes last night than the Buffalo Bills have all year."

People flip out. I counter with, essentially, "Look, the only choice you have in this gig is whether to follow the team or not. You're not getting anyone fired. You're not smarter than Terry Pegula. You're not a better GM than Beane. You're a frustrated fan, and your frustration is the only thing you can control."

Which pulls chuckleheads like Badol out of the basement to let everyone know that I'm just a homer who even supported Tom Donahoe.

Jeez, man, I support everyone at OBD because I have no intention of not following the team.

Common sense is simply lost on them.

My personal favorite excuse for the shitburgers is "fan is short for 'fanatic', therefore I can be an immature irrational dipschiff if I want!"

I know, polls are terribly unreliable. What I find most interesting is the number of people willing to admit they support troops on the border. There will always be the "shy" who will not respond positively to something the MSM is screaming as "racist" (even if they truly believe otherwise). So, it is intriguing to me that more than 50% of the people  (surveyed) support this action (well, considering only 51% of Americans approve of President Trump.   )

The Zogby Poll®: A majority of Hispanic respondents support the deployment of troops to the border to stop migrant caravan; A majority of all Americans support troops at the border; Half of women agree with the deployment of troops

Yeah...because a good portion of Hispanic respondents are legal immigrants who hate the fact that lazy people want for free what they worked years for.

Immigrants tend to be the most strongly anti-illegal immigration people I know.

You ain't kidding. My friend's parents both immigrated to the US legally, and jumped through the hoops to become US citizens. They ***** hate illegals.

Yeah, every legal immigrant I know has been most unhappy that the line-cutters keep getting in and taking valuable taxpayer dollars (and amnesty!? Oy! That is a non-starter for them.)

One of the nicest, most pleasant people I've ever known, from India, turned in to Hillary Clinton at the mention of amnesty.

But hey...there's no way you're deporting all the illegal aliens currently in the country long-term.  Some measure of amnesty is realistically necessary.  It's one of the many compromises necessary to fix the immigration system - which will never be done because both parties prefer to use the current broken system as an electoral issue than fix the problems.
