I love what he's done for this team the past few years.

He's playing his butt off and serves as a fantastic leader/role model beyond his excellent on-field contributions.

When I see the football life on Willie McGinist I think of what Zo is doing for this team right now.  He and Kyle are the linchpins of this team.

No doubt. They represent the culture that McDermott talks about so often.  It also adds credence with them being productive players.

I remember them talking about Chris Kelsey being a leader,  and that was fine off the field, but on the field he never had the production you need from a guy other guys will follow.

He has still got juice.....we need to keep him around next season.

I dont know if he is in his last year......but lets extend him

Don't say juice. It might trigger a random test.

I've been wondering what we do with him next year.  He had the big sack year and then we signed him for two more years. Most here felt his play would drop off quickly and he would mostly be kept around as a mentor and good example.

If it was me I would see how his health goes the rest of the year and bring him back for another year.

The Buffalo Bills defense has certainly stepped its game up this season. They went from being ranked 26th in Football Outsiders DVOA metric last season, to now sitting 3rd overall. The quick turnaround is due to the front office’s commitment to improving that side of the ball.

By adding defensive end Trent Murphy, defensive tackle Star Lotulelei, DT Harrison Phillips then DT Jordan Phillips just a few weeks ago, Leslie Frazier now has a well-balanced group of run stoppers and pass rushers.

Safety Rafael Bush’s ability to hold down the ‘Big Nickel’ role freed up the Bills’ ‘Swiss Army Knife’ Lorenzo Alexander, so he could be a key cog in their third-down packages.
